just an interesting thing that the ms molester on the run that we all have known about for some time is now getting circulation among the friends.. i've gotten 2 emails from elders with the link and it uses words like 'reproach' and to 'watch your kids' at the kh.. even though it's 'old' news it won't take long to get through the r&f now.. i consider this a great thing.. 5th.

Still, the initial reproach lies with those disgusting perverts.

I also get mad thinking of growing up being told that we are "so different from the world that this will never happen in God's clean Organization".

Even being told not to watch the 20/20 episode by "Apostates" only to find out 7 or 8 years later about the settlements!

I guess there are different angles to look at this.

lets say, you would be alone with an elder in a room, and you wouldn't be allowed to come out of that room until both agree that either the watchtower is wrong or they are right.. who would win the discussion, you or the elder?.

you would be allowed to bring a bible and their literature to prove what you want to say..

DID YOU DEDICATE YOURSELF BEFORE BAPTISM OR DID YOU LIE?

i was just wondering when you where going through the questions for baptism did you know you had to dedicate yourself to jehovah before hand or did you lie?.

i didn't know i had to so when i went through the questions i had to lie and say i had.

i always felt bad about it afterwards and quickly did a little prayer that night.

I was the same. I was 16. Didn't even know until the Society started asking years later when the date of your "dedication" (NOT your baptism) was.

So like many, I made one up.
