  What do you remember about the Conventions?

  when i think back, i remember being excited in the 80's.

  i remember the 5p food token strips at twickenham, london.

  you could get hot fresh doughnuts and burgers.

  i've been doing the home study with the jw's for almost a year now.

  i've never attended the kingdom hall meetings because i didn't want to -- i used my parents' objection as an excuse.

  but now i'm at a problem - i believe more as the christadelphians believe, and i no longer want to do the study with the jw's i know.

  my wee mum is not long for this world

  she has lost over 7 stone due to her cancer and is finding it almost impossible to eat now.....see the difference in a couple of years .. ......she has been giving all her belongings away too recently

  Anyone know the rules on JW's and Tattoo's????

  i'm an inactive fader (only fading and not da'd for the sake of my family) but i still have all of my privileges and haven't done anything (that the hounders know about) that would get me df'd.

  however, a fews years ago before i was baptized i got a few tattoos.

  i want to get some new ones and get a some of my old ones touched up.

  I guess not Tired,

  I was in a hall where a kid got an eagle tat across his whole back.

  I was surprised that there was very little backlash and I believe he was appointed M.S. a few years later.

  Guess it depends on if you have a cool P.O. or not.

  But it's not a big no-no anymore. Just a little no-no!

  It's not a "BIG" NO-NO but it's frowned upon.

  You won't get DFd because it is not a DFing offense.

  They'll probably give you a bit of a hard time and a talking though.

  truly an amazing artist and songwriter of our time has been van morrison .

  from the time he started in the 60's till today, he continues to pump out soulful, bluesy, great tunes, not only as a vocalist, but as an accomplished musician as well !

  I WANT A STAR TREK REPLICATOR!

  i hate cooking....i hate everything about it from planning meals, to grocery shopping, to loading the bags into my car,.

  to unloading the bags and carrying them into the house, to putting the groceries away, to cooking, to cleaning up, to.

  unloading the damn dishwasher!.

  I gotta go with the holodeck because I love planning for meals, shopping and cooking.

  And I may also fluke out and finally get that 3some with my wife!
