  i am in deep shite!.

  OKAY!!!

  Off the hook for today but with some positives.

  When we were ready to leave dinner he asked me; "How's your meeting attendance?".

  I said; "Not good but I don't want to talk about it in front of the kids".

  He asks; "Do you want me to arrange for someone to start taking the girls to the meetings?". (GOOD SIGN)

  I said; "What do you mean? Susan* is taking them but we'll talk tomorrow."

  Now lunch tomorrow is my new hell but I feel good about his passiveness. Still think big blow-up coming though!

  My 12 year old is, regrettably, covering for me! Me cowering while my little girl answers for me. It makes me sick.

  My beautiful wife is also at the edge.

  Myspace is bad

  someone told my wife that the myspace site is bad.

  they said it will be brought out more in the upcoming assemblies.

  a lot of dubs have gotten themselves in trouble on the site.

  Haven't been to a meeting for a year. Rumours are rampant in Canada as my family is 'prominent'.

  P.O. (Super JW) Dad is visiting. He asks me if I've met Brother M (who has been the PO since last Sept.). I said "of Course" although I haven't. Conversation ended there. But I am in deep trouble!

  He actually asked my kids if they are going to meetings and if not, get this... "Who would you call to take you to the meeting if your parents don't go?".

  "Why does America always bomb other countries?", my son asked tonight.

  first of all i do not want to turn this into an american bashing thread, that is not my intention at all.. i would like to hear americans opinions as to what my thirteen year old son asked me tonight.. on the way back from swimming tonight my two sons (13 and 11) and myself started talking about wars.

  my 11 year old was the first to bring it up talking about wwi & ww2.

  we had an interesting conversation about it, then the subject got onto nuclear bombs.

  McCain's was a stupid joke. (AND FINALLY) E. I know you will bash this as a cliche but you insult my military friends who all support Israel. Incidentally (although not directly related), just because of the person I can tell you are, I will tell you that they have also recently volunteered to go back to Iraq because of the response and appreciation they've seen from the Iraqi people. I know that makes your blood boil but, unfortunately, it's true!

  When the US does, they are Imperialists. When the US doesn't, they are heartless.

  I am going to remember this thread and if Iran manages to kill 5.5 million Israelis some day I'm going to ask you how you feel about your position in 2008 and whether you think mocking McCain for his bad joke was pretty insignificant.

  I saw a conspiracy show on vacation that I'd never seen before and it basically blamed America for every single modern historical event. It was ridiculous and I was thinking; "There's gotta be something they think the US isn't responsible for?".

  Maybe that's where 5go gets his info.

  As a side note: Ironically, that's also why I argue with people who literally have 0% good to say about the WT.
