I'm asking a good friend of mine who does web design for a living what she would recommend for you. I'll let you know what she says, though I suspect it will be Photoshop.

Corel? No, that is just what my friend likes to use. I'm more familiar with Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro is geared more towards touching up photos, but can be used for other purposes as well.
I found this with a quick google search - http://www.thelogocreator.com/, though I can't recommend since I've never used it. Then there is this - http://www.webgraphicscreator.com/. I'm just throwing things out here.
You can always scan in your sketch as a layer, create a new layer on top with the graphics tools so to make sure the lines are straight, etc., make sure it's print ready. I will have to do similar with my tat design.

An artist friend of mine frequently scans in his sketch work when he wants to finish it in Corel. That way he can clean up the lines, add color, etc.
Sketch it, scan it, touch it up. That's what I'll be doing.

wow, what a response!
by Matt_fs ini simply asked a friend of mine to explain to me deut 20:20-22 and he wrote this:.
"its really quite simple what i think about deut.18:20-22. i don't.
the hebrew scriptures describing aspects of the original law convenent ended when the new convenent came into place by means of christ's death.

This is how I personally would respond:
What else are you promoting Matt?
Mainly, simply, that one should continue to always ask questions, and should never be too afraid to do so.
Have you found an alternative to 'the truth'?
That question doesn't even make any sense. Truth is always relative, and perhaps doesn't even exist ultimately.
One that teaches us God's name and the importance of it? How about Christ's death and what it actually means? Or Jesus himself for that matter? The Kingdom? What happens when we die, why Jehovah God permits suffering... these undeniable CORE TRUTHS.
There are many, many religions that teach "God's name" and it's importance. Why don't you ask a Freemason what the name Jehovah means to him? The mystery of sacrifice and redemption is not solely owned by JWs or even Christiantity alone. Its meaning is universal. Many sects and religions teach what they think Jesus' life was like, who he was. What makes any one of them more correct than another? The Kingdom? Well, again, it means many different things to many different people. Yours is simply one opinion. What happens when we die? Again, only guesses ultimately. Not one of us will know until we do die, and maybe not even then. Why suffering? A question as old as mankind. Your answer is one of many possible ones.
"Undeniable CORE TRUTHS"? There is nothing in this wide universe that is undeniable ultimately.
I could go on, but really this person would hear none of it. Why waste your time?

LOL!!
I thought we were going to be discussing the Logos!
I am having a similar problem with a tattoo I've been trying to design for myself. I've thought about having someone else put something together for me, but I want to invest as much of myself into it as I can. So... I'm practicing. I bought a sketchbook and some good pencils, a compass, protractor... I printed out some images I thought might help me with ideas and techniques and it's coming along quite nicely.
Now, when I've got it very close to how I want it, I may have a more experienced, talented, artist clean it up, etc. but I've committed to doing the majority of the work myself. And I'm sure I'll be much more satisfied with the results than I would be otherwise.

The minimum system requirements for TopDesk are:
- Windows XP.
- 800 Mhz CPU.
- 256 MB RAM.
- 16 MB DirectX 8.1 compatible video card * .
And usually, the minimum specs are the minimum at which it will run... at all. I seriously doubt it runs very quickly at all on a machine with just those minimum specs. The only difference here is that MS says Vista needs a minimum 512 MB RAM and a DirectX 9 capable graphics processor.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/buyorupgrade/capable.mspx
No real reason to get Topdesk over upgrading to Vista based upon this alone. But, if you just want to keep XP and get the look/feel of Vista, I guess this would be the way to go.

I just bought a 22" Viewsonic LCD from Costco for $299. - http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11163877&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=
The only problem is that I had to take the first two back because they both had one single bad pixel, but it was ultimately worth it for the price.
Oh yeah, for $50 more, you can get one with a handy iPod dock on the base right there.

Those Three Words "I love you"
by Thinking of Leaving inhi everyone, happy friday.
i have a question for the guys and girls on this board.
do you think that the man or the woman should say "i love you" first in a relationship?.

Don't be so judgemental Daystar, you know nothing about me or my past relationships.
You're right, I don't. But it's very obvious that you have some degree of problem with low self-esteem, etc. if you're so worried about who says "I love you" first and are so afraid of being the first one and not hearing it back.
I calls 'em like I sees 'em. And I reserve the right to judge as I see fit. Just trying to help. I think you need to get a pair.

so what if I say it and he do doesn't say it back I would be so embarassed and hurt too
although I get the feeling he does love me
I'll just wait thanks everyone for the input
I think you have a problem. You lack confidence and self-esteem. You are also way too afraid of not being loved back. I also don't think you really even know what love is, to be even asking these questions.
You need to say what you feel and what you mean. If you don't get a response, so what? You love him? Let him know. Don't be so selfish, expecting a response necessarily back. Don't expect love back when you give it. Give love freely and without expectation.
