I beleive this time they are making A big mistake, because there
are people who were alive in 1975 and remerber what they preach
at the time. People that were never JW,s will tell you, these people
told me the same thing before 1975. Very few people remerber 1943
and past dates and is still alive today. Every person over the age of
40 yrs. old remerber that JW,s preach the world would end in 1975.
reading a thread from just a few months ago, made me realise that a lot of people who used to be regular contributors here no longer do so.. i know that people have always moved on, as the anger and hurt get less, as the wt mind-set totally disappears, we feel the need to come here less and less, but because of the intelligence, insight, wit and wisdom of these people, the board is somewhat impoverished each time one of these moves on.. this is a plea to all who post now, and some who still read but don't post, please do not leave us entirely, the contributions on here are literally life-saving for many.

I feel dumb why I did not post for the first three years, and this is
why. When I found this site the only topic I would read was the subjects
on the home page, for example today (watchtower lierature is free
and Translating the Nwt).I did not realize there were daliy topics
discuss. I had posted early but never any response and I wonder why.
I felt my question was to dumb. For days I would check to see if my
question was posted on the home page. Then one day by accident
I stumble on Active topics, new topic, WOW hear was the community, been
posting ever since. I will continue until all my family get out of
that CULT.

cyberjesus; you are right. When my ex call me and told me he
was dating my daughter I went berserk. I knew of him but
I didn,t know him. My daughter was A lot younger. I call him
over the phone and I we had A heated conversion. At the time
I was out the loop ( not A JW), so my daughter live with my ex.
To make A long story short, my daughter told me she will never
marry A man that will not respect her father. He,s A good kid
with two beautiful children, and they bring them around so I
can see them. He is just A know it all and my daughter loves him.
