The strangest looking (and acting) nut jobs you have ever seen at the KH!
by new boy inthere are so many after after 52 years in the "borg".. my top two would have to be at my last hall tigard oregon.. one lady slept in her pickup truck with 30 parakeets, sometimes in the kh parking lot.
people tried to help her with accommodations but she like the truck.
she really dressed up for the meetings......feather boa's, big hats, looked like may west from the 30's.

Ederly sister, sister B..She would speak out in the meeting
in agreement with the speaker."You are right brother, that,s
what the bible say," "That,s true, you are speaking the truth".
Her best line, speak on Brother speak on. It was so funny when
we have A new visiting speaker, the poor brother would lose
his train of thought. And yes she was A elderly Black sister.
The meetings were never dull when sister B was there.

Has your anger turned to pity?
by journey-on ingetting through the tough steps toward real freedom from the wts involves a lot of work for some.
many, start out angry that their authentic lives were hampered by a high-control group of men posing as god's organization.
we feel robbed of something we can't quite put our finger on sometimes.

Yes just recently. My baby brother A elder told my Sister and brother
who has never been JW. He told them he would be sitting around
the house feeling down, his wife would ask, you are thinking about
your brother(me), yes I miss him. We were unseparable.

black sheep; I hope the ticker is better today.
Breck; True, you can never, never, ever pick up A
cigarette after you have quit. Yes the key is
you must be ready to quit. Each time I decide to
quit I end up smoking more, just the thought
of quitting. I also have learn to play the guitar(kinda).
Thanks all for the great advice..

Dan Bug; You are young, don,t wait until you are my old age,
and try to stop. A double wammy, Apostate and then look down
by society for smoking.
Farkel: That,s A very good reason to stop.

July 15th WT out - Coming out Swinging at Apostates Hard
by LostGeneration inthis is one of the most aggressive watchtowers i think i have ever read.. four study articles on not "following the crowd" not following unrealities(page 13) not following false teachers, meaning apostates of course(p 15).
avoiding false teachers means "refusing to read their literature, watch tv programs that feature them, examine their web sites, or add comments to their blogs.
(para 7, pg 16).

I have noitce in last few years, JW become very upset when
you talk against the GB, they will never say, you are speaking
against God, instead you are speaking against our leaders (GB).
They are definitely replaceing God..

The Disfellowshipping Arrangement is Total Double-Speak
by Pika_Chu ini am livid right now, so please understand i'm venting, and i don't mean to sound like a troll.
i just found out about the "simplified" wt and the koolaid edition reinforcing shunning.
this is really freaking me out, but, anyway, i just had an epiphany.

The shunning practice is what cause me to question the WT.
I beleive if not for that, I would be A JW today. My family members
who has never been JW, withness this practice first hand . When
they saw this act of love (df), they admittedly stop their study.
They question, how can this be A act of love. When someone
engage in wrong doing, you do not shut them off when they
most need the help.
