  Could The Watchtower and Awake Collapse?

  this is not a prophesy, folks, but rather a train of thought to pursue about the organization, especially in light of its recent legal problems.. could the magazines collapse?

  the watchtower is published in 188 languages?

  and the awake a rather huge number as well?.

  I do not see A collapse for the Watchtower and

  Awake, but I do see an drastic drop in the distribution

  in the new future. The shunning policy will be their downfall.

  They will never go away, but will be A fringe group.

  This is the way I see it.

  I can only speak for the US. The family unit is being

  redefine. The family unit as the building block of society

  is underattack. For centuries, the traditional family was

  the basic building block of our society.

  Today we have same sex marriages(but it,s A family),

  I have no problems with same sex marriages, and we

  have single famlies.

  How many times have you ask A person, what do you

  know about JW,s. I bet you 90% of the times they will say, they

  break up families. With so many leaving the word is getting out.

  So with society(US) working towards making the family unit stronger

  same sex, single or what ever and then you have A group, working

  to destroy that unit, by shunning ex members, it will be their

  downfall.

  I remerber reading the top priority of Marxism. It was the abolition

  of the family. Marx laid down the strategy for it,s destruction.

  His thesis was simple, eliminate capital, exterminate the family.

  With JW,s eliminate God, exterminate the family.

  Football (sports)

  one of my other posts mentioned briefly how the c.o.b.e.

  of my "former" hall is trying to make it a rule of no football,especially for elders and servants.. of course,as a woman i would never qualify to be a servant,nor do i want to be.

  but,i still enjoy watching a bit of the nfl.

  The good old days. The brothers from L.A. would

  come over on A Saturday afternoon after field service

  for flag football, including Elders. Sometimes we would

  have over 30 brothers show up. And the basketball

  games, we would reserve the gym, just brothers. Good

  times.

  i am sorry ,but my daughter will not be in my will.. her dughters my grand kids, that,s another story,.

  it,s not their fault they do not know me.

  Quarteback: My parents raise Six kids, Father A janitor,

  Mom A school teacher. After raising four kids of my own

  it help me to appreciate the sacrifices they made for us.

  No way in hell could I justify that kind of behavior toward

  my parents by me. Up till the death of both my parents

  I often told them how much I appreciated what they have

  done for us kids.

  Greybeard; I understand where you are coming from.

  I will always love my kids, but to be frank, I am tired of

  being kick in the rear. Four kids, two out two in. One daughter(JW)

  stay in contact, the other one A hard core JW, would not

  give me the time of day. In the last 15yrs. I have spoken

  to her twice. The first time about 10yrs. ago, she ask if

  I could co-sign for A house for her and her husband, no

  word from her five years previous. The second time about

  seven years ago, I was selling my condominium due to health

  problem(lost job). She call me up to see if they could buy

  my condo. Not buy it but to take over the payments. No visit

  while I was in the hospital or call. As A Witness I did not raise

  my kids to be so cold hearted, this is not what I taught them.

  from my grand kids they will only receive it after

  two years of college within two years of finishing

  high school. If not, then they share will go to my

  other grand kids.

  Have any one come across A site where the Bible is used,

  and systematically discuss verse by verse, starting from

  Genesis to Revelation. A site where people of all faith,

  Jews, Muslim, Baptist, etc. all have the Bible in common,

  discuss, why do you believe in your interpretation. One thing

  this site JW net. has done for me is open my eyes about A

  cult I was once involved. We focus our attention on JWs

  because that,s A group we are familiar with, but what

  about other religious groups. Here we have analysis,

  decipher and broken down this cult to where we can see

  it for what it is. What people sometime perceive from the

  outside (our experience in the truth) is not the real truth.

  So for me, to weigh in on A discussion on the different

  veiws on one verse would be interesting. My eyes may be

  open.
