People please, please follow orders especially if you are
black and the size of that guy. No excuse on the part of
those NYPD officers in the death of this guy, but all of that
would have been avoided if he only complied. I have been
stopped many times, one time as a suspect in a murder case.
I drove the same car, similar tags. If I had jumped out
of my car with a attitude I may not be here today. Four
cop cars surrounded me with guns aimed at me, not
until I stepped out they realized I was not the suspect.
I was 50 the suspect in his twenties. This is a fact
of life in the black community, Just comply.
My son stopped by cops and ask how you able to afford this car,
he was 27 years old and worked for Edison as a electrician.
He gave the officer some lip for stopping him. He held my
son up for 30 min. Made him walk the line ( this was in the afternoon),
ran a check and etc....I know it's not right, but if my son had kept his
mouth shut...

The freinds I knew in the borg race was never a problem as
for as I know. The first two years as a JW I severed in a
predominantly black congregation, the rest of
the time I served in a predominantly white congregation.
I viewed all my brothers as brothers, and I would have died for them.
I learn a lot about race relations. I knew a brother that was in the
KKK, we talk for hours, he still had some issues (blacks not in borg).
I knew blacks that still had issues with the white brothers, some
were Elders.. For me I cherish the time I spent with the white, native
Americans, Spanish brothers (I stayed with in mexico),Maya brothers
and their sadistic jokes (LOL), the brothers is Belize that faces the
same issues with different cultures in that small country.
As a result of our time in the borg my sons had a difficult time
making the adjustment from JW world.
In our house the kids had no idea who was staying the night,(what race)
race was never an issue it didn't matter, I really believe we were brothers.

Shouldn't the WTBTS have more than 7 million followers after 140 years of preaching?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inafter 140 years of preaching and millions of books, magazines, and tracts, all the wtbts has to show is a measly 7 million members.
the mormons, baptists, pentecostals and many other religions have more members without the preaching work.. in your opinion, is 7 million members way too many for all the odd beliefs, doctrines and practices ?
or, should be more members since they have had over 140 years of being in the religion business?.

Inactive ones still counted, good question. We need a
mass disfellowshiping. All inactive ones requesting to
be DF at the same time. Have no idea what the numbers
might be but lets say 10000 in the same week here in the US,
that may cause some to think, what the hell is going on.

Doesn't say much about Jehovah's credibility or judgement
in making a crazy bet with Satan.
A JW should ask themselves, if we are winning this war
who in the hell is losing...I wonder what the Angels in
heaven are thinking, damn Satan is kicking our asses. WE
did all this work for a few measly folks and Satan, laughing

by suavojr inyes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.
they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.
they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

What's up with my JW family. We came into the borg in 60's, 1st generation.
Today 40 still in only three left, me and my two sons... I have seen other
young people leave but most come back....
Not one member of my JW family has ever left.

Did anyone ever rent a home or apartment from a "brother"?

i lived with my brother and then sister-in-law in an apartment building owned by a brother and his wife.. besides the fact that they would constantly enter the place while we were out, without any kind of advance notification, they would procrastinate whenever there was maintenance work that needed to be done.
sometimes it would take months before they would get to it.

I will never rent my house to anyone, JW or non-JW.
It never work out. One tenant took all the light fixtures,
the bath room and kitchen fixtures.. LOL
But JW are not any worse then section 8 folks maybe
not all but the ones I rented too, hell no......

can Satan read your mind?
by doodle-v ini talked to my brother today who is still a practicing jw (i've managed to fade) .
we were talking and suddenly he asked me if i thought satan could read my mind.
and he said "yeah i though the answer was yes and then i found out that satan cant read my mind".
