The effective range of a uzi is 200m, about two football fields.
It's a submachine gun designed by Israel for frontline military
service in 1949. If you fire the uzi on simi-automatic in a neighborhood,
think of all the damage it can cause. The guy in a quickstop using
a uzi, a child asleep in his bed two blocks away could be one of those
casualties.

i own a home in the kind of neighborhood where you have to get hoa permission to do just about anything, including chopping down a tree.
i'm a white collar worker and lead a pretty boring life.

Maybe because you are single guy is why you are getting the cold
shoulder. Or maybe because of your age. We are one of the oldest in
our neighborhood, young ones move in and I'm sure they figure
they have nothing in common with us old folks.
So if the neighborhood is well established with old timers it may
take awhile, they are checking you out.LOL You are the new kid on
the block..
If you were a single woman you may have gotten a different reception.

Do they use a uzi in the olympics, do folks use them in duck hunting?
We own a hand gun, but if there is something brewing that I am

officer who shot him aug. 11 outside a 7-eleven in south salt lake wasnt white.. race bias ???.

My grand father favorite phrase," wrong is wrong". I have known
young men that was killed or beaten by the police and didn't
make national news. It's not about black or white it's about rouge
police officers. I have friends that are or were in law enforcement and
it's not a easy job.
The week when R. King was beaten by the LA cops I became the company
black representative in defense of R. King, not by my own choice.
The company I worked for, very few blacks that worked there, I was
the only black in my department. So each day folks would come by my
desk and ask my opinion. Most felt he deserved the beating. LOL
Are you kidding me. What made my blood boil, I knew R. King the
same KH....
The point, "wrong is wrong"..It doesn't matter, if the victim is black,
green, white or yellow, it's wrong...

TAKE IT EASY!! DON'T SAY THAT AFTER A CONVERSATION!
by NoMoreHustle inthis drives me insane when i am rebutted after i say "well take it easy brother so & so" after a small conversation.
they always seem to reply "we are in jehovah's organization there is no taking it easy" or "we are in the last days brother we don't have time to take it easy".
i guess this makes me a care-free man of the world rather than a spiritual man!!

see the veins in the guy neck and he getting ready to punch you

the insanity of Sam herds talks at the convention
by purrpurr ini've picked up two that stood out to me but i'm sure others will have noticed more:.
he gave an illustration about fearing god and he said it is like a wife who has spent all day preparing the evening meal for her husband and she hears him come home and perhaps she is trembling a bit out of fear that he might not like the meal she has cooked for him....!!!!!!!!????.
the other was about verbal abuse and how it should not be used but rather than site the effect it has or the forms it can take he said that we shouldn't call each other " dumb dumb" or "knuckle head" .

In JW world you are constantly under a microscope by elders, some
elders not all. But the very ones where power have gone to their heads,
in most cases these are the ones that children leave the borg.
Why, because they way the shepherd the flock (unloving) is the same way
they deal with their childrens.
Of course no parent shuold be responsible for their adult child, but in JW world
an elder is a example for the flock...If all your children leave the borg when they
become a adult, something was wrong in your household.
It's not a case where they learn the truth about the truth, these folks
went beserk....

can i just say this site is absolutely brilliant.
finally found people with open minds and free thought that doesn't just consist of "well the wt told me this so it must be right".. my story is that i'm just like any other child of a jw...brought up into a life of indoctrination where "the world's" thinking is automatically wrong.. that is until i was 14 - a light turned on in my head.
