  Why it,s strange. Two weeks ago I had A lengthen

  discussion with A elder that came to my door. I posted

  the conversation. Uo to two weeks ago, maybe once or

  twice A year A JW would come to my door. I figure after

  I reveal myself to the elder (ex-Elder, ex-missionary), they

  would put me on the list,(not to call on).

  I mention to my JW daughter, I had A long conversation

  with A elder, she stated, Dad you don,t know how often I have

  prayed to Jehovah, for him to open your eyes. So you see

  two weeks later, JW at my door. I thought it was strange

  because my daughter lives in A different state, she grew up

  in this area, she know many of the JW,s in the area.

  I heard some one talking at my front door. I got up

  and low and behold, two JW,s (young ladies).

  I told them A elder was here two weeks ago, we talk

  and I told him I use to be JW A elder. One ask do you have the

  lastest WT, no I do not need it. Well sir have A nice day.

  i remember one time when i was about 17 years old, i wanted to arrange a costume party for the young brothers in the congo around my age.

  i suggested it to one of my friends and was told that the elders had advised against it because it could be construed as pagan and masks have their roots in demonism.

  of course, i was never shown any biblical proof of this but just that response took the wind out of my sails and i decided to just not go through with it.

  What Is It That Really Troubles the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses?

  well i think what worries them the most is that more and more witnesses are becoming free thinkers and that is troubling them, it worries them that thinking freely will cause them to seek answers elsewhere and that is the last thing the gb wants.

  they have pulled the reins so tight now how much tighter can they pull before many witnesss crack under their yokes.

  what is your thoughts on this matter.. .

  Someone mention , who run the WT. That,s the problem

  no one. The foundation of their faith was base on lies, so

  today those lies are kicking them in the butt. Governing

  Body cann,t deal with it, they are lost, that,s why they

  are coming up with so many crazy New light. They have

  A BIG problem.. The WT foundation was built on very

  shaky ground, and now it,s crumbling.

  spectacle on the stage of mankind. I took this to mean

  as representatives of the WT., our conduct will be watch

  from heaven and earth,( can make one A little paranoid).

  But after reading that verse, Paul is comparing the apostles

  to A parade of men appointed to death, A spectacle in the

  world,s theater on their way to execution. In this brief life the

  prophets are persecuted. In this moment of mortality the

  apostles " are made A spectacle unto the world, 1 Cor.4;13

  we are made as filth of the world. deemed to be the offscouring

  off all things. What is the WT veiw, are they the filth of the world?

  do you know, A gift from God.

  The WT warn the RF, stay away from such practices and

  yet they continue in predictions, that have never come true.

  The WT is nothing but A high paid scamish fortune-teller.

  Is the New Testament Just a Pagan Corruption of the Old Testament?

  i find myself asking that question more and more of late.. my first reason is the claim of a virgin birth.

  all of the jewish sources i read say that isaiah 7:14 does not talk about a virgin birth, but rather a birth to a young maiden.

  it was only the greek septuagint that shifted this belief to a virgin birth that is similar to their greek myths.. .
