  Sure the world is better in certain respect, but for

  over 6000-7000 years(what ever you believe) the world is

  still a dangerous place, more then enough time for GOD to set

  matters straight.

  up with, "In the name of GOD". It's not like it was in the past (religious wars).

  Folks are not so gullible today. Your God tells you it's ok to behead another man,

  ISIS, plain and simple. If there is a GOD there is no way he

  would allow this to occur (beheading of James Foley). A people

  that claim to speak for GOD..JW's are bad, but ISIS are at another

  level.

  We have a guy (Peter Popoff) marketing Miracle spring water to

  the most gullible people on the face of the earth and then we

  have ISIS.

  Don't you think God would say, "OK, enough is enough, if I don't

  put a stop to this madness, there will be no one left to believe in ME...

  HOW CAN WOMEN BE ANNOINTED BUT NO PRIVELAGES IN HALL?

  i had listened to the degrading talk by gb heard (on women) & watched a video on evie bklyn channel & there was alot of interesting questions that are raised.. i had always wondered why can't women in the hall handle mics or run magazine counter etc.?

  but they (if annointed) will rule in heaven with jesus.

  that is a pretty heavy responsibility to help jesus rule millions of people on earth, but yet they can't pass a mic or even run the sound system in the kh.

  Hard time coping with shunning

  it's almost 1am and i can't sleep...again.

  i hate to think the organization is still taking my sleep from me 16 years later but i can't help it.

  i run a page on social media for ex jw support and advice and i'm usually there helping others but it definitely takes a toll on me when i'm having to argue and disprove jws that troll my page.

  It was my daughter's wedding, 1992...I went to the wedding

  but not the reception. They got a divorce this year. It was

  my fault because I went to the wedding..

  What would you do if JW's lifted the shunning policy?

  what if the gb decided that "new light" revealed to them that disfellowshipping was wrong and they would do away with it for current dfd members as well...... .......16 years of my life.

  would i welcome my family back?

  The GB could come back the next year and tell you "New light",

  Question for those of you that was DF and went back, how

  were treated by those in the congregation, period between

  1990 up to now?

  I ask because doing the 60's and 70's there was a big difference

  in treatment of DF ones. I must admitt I didn't know a lot

  of DF brothers or sisters, but if they were coming

  to the meetings the friends would smile at you, brothers (all

  brothers) would talk to you briefly. Somewhere down the line

  only Elders could talk to you. I remember telling one brother

  at a wedding I'm DF, you are not suppose to talk to me...LOL

  It seem there was a genuine concern for those that walked

  away or DF in the 60's and 70's..

  The first time a had a close friend, an Elder get DF, I figured

  why in the hell he is not making an effort to come back.

  He was a Elder, he knew the truth a very respected Elder.

  Ok, he was DF for adultery but still I wanted to know, what's your

  problem, we can work it out, it's the truth.

  Today it's like we don't care if you come back or not, if you

  come to the meetings we will treat you like sh--t..

  We want you to crawl on your knees before coming

  back to the flock......WE are GOD'S people.
