if so, i am deeply sorry.
i was abused by a handful right from the start, presumably on the basis of the avatar picture (and 2001 vintage).. when visiting dubland, i often find that others start fights with me - for whatever reason, and i provide quite a supply of them - and when it doesn't quite go the way they expected, they cry persecution.

Excellent flow chart.
People tend to focus on the debate of whether there is a god or not, with many claiming there must be a God as they are unwilling to accept any other explanation for the existence of life. But the relevant question is whether there is an all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful creator, since that is the premise that is the foundation for most religion. Your flow chart is a good deconstruction of that foundation.

I hate reading these ignorant type of comments. It is particularly iritating because the world is by far the best it has ever been to live in, and if the global economy collapsed, the worst case scenario would only take us back to standards that humans have lived in for almost their entire history. I find it offensive when people that do not appreciate how good their lives are.
Also that comment about Babylon. Are JWs totally devoid of any historical knowledge? Babylon has remained constantly inhabited, and has to this day.

Expressions on faces at DC/RC
by BU2B ini have become more observant at the last couple district conventions of jws faces and enthusiasm and it seems to be very somber.
i remember a couple of years ago i was an attendant at one of the upper sections at the blue cross arena in rochester, ny and in afternoon session at least half were curled up with their eyes closed, some with blankets.
the applause seems very forced and mechanical.

20 years ago I took a uni student friend to a meeting. He was sure from the way the sisters were dressed that they were dying to get laid. As much as the Watchtower condemns other church members for looking too casual, young JWs often look like they are trying to pick up in a night club. I have heard brothers refer to lunch time as the meat market.

2029 - the year NOBODY from 1914 will still be alive.
by EndofMysteries ingoing by the oldest verified by birth cert living person is 115 years old, in 15 years not only will not "millions now living will never die(1914)" be untrue, but even 1 single person now living will never die will be out.
i wonder what the spin will be then w/ the wt.
it's just around the corner, don't go to school, give us all your money and assets, it's happening real soon now.

Kaik, in 1995 it was a just an indeterminate period of time. They have changed it now to a single overlap, so that it appears like it needs to come before the second generation dies out. Subtle but importance difference to the timeframe.

Just a small point, "Millions now Living will never Die" was first presented in 1918. You are right that it is already a failed prophecy, as there are less than 1 million alive from when that statement was made in 1918.
Sadly, JWs are so deluded that most do not think it matters if the GB preach lies.

They may need much more to cover some swaps that went south.
What do they need a lot of cash flow for? Each hall is funded by member donations, with enough extra to keep donating to headquarters. They already have enough Bethel properties considering how they have wound back the printing work. Any income they get is just gravy for them. If members leave that does not cause any problem either, as they can offload some of the halls to increase cash flow. The GB are sitting on a pot of easy gold.

Ocean11 - Why would they want to do that? They have 8 million members. If they can convince them to donate just $10 each a month, that is almost $1 billion in revenue they can continue to get each year. Not to mention the free labour to keep building them more properties. I cannot see why they would want to willingly wind things up.
Sure, the doctrines are getting dated. But they can slowly make them main stream. There are other religions that are growing, and JWs can continue to as well for quite a few more decades if they could make the right changes. But even if they don't, and they lost half the members, they can still raise half a billion tax free dollars a year. Not many companies globally can make that sort of claim.

That is such an extreme quote. They could have said "since Jehovah trusted the slave enough to appoint them over the flock, should we not do the same?" Rather, they presumptously add the word "completely", which is without any support, and there is no reason to think God would completely trust any human.
