the reason why i didn't answer you back is twofold: (1) i'm at work and they kind of expect me to do other things besides post on jwd; (2) my husband chris (big tex) answered your question sufficiently for me so i didn't see a need to respond.. nina i am curious as to why you didnt finish our discussion and respond to my answer?

Well there was the time when Josephine (also known as Josie, Jojo and Mojojojo) got a plastic bag caught in her collar and became so scared and disoriented that she jumped out of the window, that wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't been living on the second floor. she was fine, I took her to the vet paid over a hundred dollars for him to give her a shot for the pain and took her home. Needless to say there are no more plastic bags in the house and no more collars for Mojo.
Or the time Flea (yup that was his real name) got in to a fight with my neighbors much bigger cat and ended up lossing the tip of his tail.He too was okay, sure he looked weird but he never picked another fight with that cat.

Also during this converasation T brought up the recent death of a family friend she said it was his time to go because God wanted him with him and because he had gotten baptized when he was fourteen (he should have been baptized much sooner, if he had done this he would not have died).
I have never heard a 12 year old talk like this before, is it normal? What are your thoughts on this conversation?

Bacause everytime I think about going out in service my heart begins to beat really fast and I begin to feel really sick to my tummy.Plus my friends the ones that I used to go out in service with every weekend no longer call me, even to say hello.
So instead I get up every Saturday and go to work at least here I get paid and extra money never hurt any one.

about two months ago this guy called in for a quote i gave him a quote and hoped that he would not like it and go else where.

JDoe, because of the nature of the bizz. we are in I am not sure if I am allowed to completley sever the ties with this moron, in the morning I will call the department of inusrance to find out if I can do so.Also I have never raised my voice at him or been rude or unprofessional in any way.Elsewhere great suggestion but ***I would never do such thing****.
ConfusedJW, this is what we tried to do by refusing to do the change on his policy for free, however the companys underwrititer budged and now we have to deal with him. The problem goes beyond him being a jerk, for example the day he came in my sister was with me and after he left she said "Lola he is mean and looks like he is crazy" she is only 12 and she could tell that something was not "right" with this person.I honestly believe that he could become violent. You are right our buisness is growing and we don't need or want this kind of person as a client. I think that in the future I'm just going to tell him to make any payments or endorsements with the company and let them deal with him.

Mum, you have given very wise advise. In all of our clients files we have an "info sheet" When someone calls us we pull the file and note the date, time and who we spoke with along with the details of the conversation. We do this even if we are just calling to remind someone of their monthly payments. Also we never make any changes for anyone over the phone unless it is a change of address . If someone needs to add or delete a vehicle from a policy or needs to cancel the policy we request that they come in to our office. If they are not in the area they must e-mail the changes.
It is always a good thing to document everything that happens and have it in writting.
