I sprained my ankle today...

Our Own Conference

i know there are conferences that xjws attend, but since i ran accross joy castro's writings and new book today it got me thinking about the subject.

something non-religious in nature.....well as non religious as xjws can get anyway lol.

i think it would be cool if we could have people like her, kimberly norris, bryan, donald, and so many of the others that have done stuff for us.

Most of those who would attend such a conference are already ex-JWs well beyond the "I need help" stage.

It would be good to go to gather resources to help all the ex-JW's who, unfortunately are still in the "I need help stage" Plus to raise awareness regarding the JW doctrines and beliefs to interested ones.

I don't have the patience to read this thread all the way thru. My two cents however is as follows.

I don't believe in miracles or luck. Life is what you make it. Sometimes coincindences happen that may seem to be miracles or luck, it's all in the perception.

this is going to sound like a sexist thread but why is it so hard for some women to come in go to their desk, do their job and leave in the evening?

i have one who cannot stay off the phone, always some drama going on disrupting others and is just an overall troublemaking bitch!

yesterday she threatened to quit and i just looked at her and didn't say anything; even though i felt like cutting loose on her and telling her what i thought of her.

The reason I will not handle it alone is because I do not trust this employee with me and her in the office dealing with this behind closed doors; not only that, I didn't hire her; my boss did.

You would be smart to avoid that. Drama queen would probably take it and run.
