I am sure that this will be an excellent argument for the future Awake's magazine, but now we are talking about reaction that you can read on Wol.

This is true, there on this thread *some* witness who are interesting in the problems of *all* the victims, unfortunally, the big majority are interested:

1/ in the Bethel and witness only
2/ in the possibility to talk about that on door to door
3/ in the possible destruction of "babylon the great" and Armaghedon.

In all Yahoo Clubs for JW only, board for witness this is the same three topics that are the more related.

okay, i know (or want to believe) that not all jehovah's witnesses are this calloused.

at least i hope not.

there are some good, caring people, but here are some stark contrasts i've observed today that remind me of how glad i am that i'm not part of such an overall unloving group of people.

The theory of Springmeier is that all the cults are in connection with freemasonry to destroy the christianity.

Springmeier used some false document of the nazi's era.

In France, I still not have particular letters. We have an ex-elder who have all the letter of the erea between 1993-1996, but nothing on the matter.

Several weeks ago, i was in touch with an official of JW in Paris, I didn't tell him that i am an ex-JW but instead a scholar on JW ;-)

I had terribly lie to him: JW are a religion in good standing, etc...

After a hour of discussion, he told me that the policy has changed in France too, that perhaps in the past it was not clear on the matters. He gave me a date: 1997.

This week, a friend of mine, ex-elder but still JW told me that in 1997, in an elder's convention they told them to report to the police (1997)

But now, I have two cases about pedophilia and because there is no two witness, the victim was told to do nothing.

I think that since 1997, elders had instructions to report to the police only when they have two witness.

We had two lawsuit's involvment in the past (Dijon, Pezenas)

some days ago i asked you if someone wrote to prof j. buduhn who is quoted in the watchtower 1 february 1998, p. 32. here's what i received from him.

in this long thread, all you talk about the NWT, but NWT has different version (1961,1974,1985,1995 in french). I have in my possession a 1961 NWT, when you compare it with a 1995 NWT, you can see a deepest difference. The 1961'w version is bad french and some verses are very long comparing the 1995's NWT.

perhaps at the beginning, Fred Franz and the others were not real translators and there was a lot of critics which were true about this works. Years after years, they have improving their knowledge on the greek and hebrew. Why must we blame them about it.
