recently i had the pleasure to examine a stash of 1920s and 1930s golden age magazines, among the rarest of watchtower publications.
i thought it would be a fun idea to have a thread in which i share with you some of the amazing, ridiculous, hilarious things contained therein.
hence, this is the first post of a series of excerpts, scans, etc.

i am just reading 'thus saith jehovah's witnesses'.
on page 91, it mentions how eric frost is viewed as a hero in the awake magazine of august 22, 1995. it then mentions how the article gives no mention that frost turned in his fellow district servants to the gestapo after he had been betrayed.
i have just looked at the watchtower library 2006, but eric frost is not even mentioned in those articles.
I don't think that a man who gave some crucial information under torture could be seriously be called " a nazi collaborator"

the april 25, 1894 watch tower there was a special edition exposing a conspiracy regarding a possible overthrow of russell's power.. page 11 states that a bro zech disagreed with russell's opinion that the printed page was the best way to preach the word.
Could you help me to fill the gap between 1894 and 1916, and between 1919 to 1943 ?

Drew, i have the same project, and i have contact privately some of poster here who are OK for this project in english. If you want to take a look at my wikimedia site in french: http://www.tj-encyclopedie.org. You will see that i have incorporated some Ajax tools and some dynamic list (like the new article) on the main page. I have adapted a javascript as a wiki hook that embedded the NWT of the Watchtower website in the core of an article so when you click on a bible verse a pop up show it. I have no problem with the php of the wikimedia software, so i am not scared with the monobook.php and other css or js... If you can wait a week (i will away from internet this week) we can make something together, i have still buy a domain name for this project, and i could redirect it on your website, or if you have a too small space, we can make it on my website.
