I am just reading 'Thus Saith Jehovah's Witnesses'.

On page 91, it mentions how Eric Frost is viewed as a hero in the Awake Magazine of August 22, 1995. It then mentions how the article gives no mention that Frost turned in his fellow district servants to the Gestapo after he had been betrayed.

I have just looked at the Watchtower Library 2006, but Eric frost is not even mentioned in those articles. Now has it been taken out of the library or was it not there in the first place?

Do you have a page reference for the 1995 article? I see no evidence Frost was mentioned therein...unless you mean the 1988 piece on him.

In the 2003 CD-rom there are a number of references to Erich Frost (mind the "h"), none from 1995 though...

The 'Thus saith' book says that the article on Frost was written on August 22 1995. It doesn't give a page number... I don't know much about Frost Charles but there is some info here http://www.virushead.net/forwardtruth.html

So, is that a factual error in the thus saith book?

I understand he is mentioned in the Holocaust museum.

ITS interesting that there should honour a NAZi COLLORABATOR in their MUSEUM.

I don't think that a man who gave some crucial information under torture could be seriously be called " a nazi collaborator"

Captured gestapo files reveal that Frost betrayed all JW district servants after he was himself betrayed by another district servant. The WTS will probably deny that these Gestapo files tell the truth but there is no reason to believe that they were made up. Why would the Gestapo do that in documents meant for their own use?

The August 22 1995 issue was an Awake! It had 4 articles on the Holocaust, but I found no mention of Erich Frost by name in them.

There are references to him by name in later literature up through 2000 at least. One specifically calls him one of the "loyal ones". He was apparently very involved in the post-war work and was mentioned in connection with the 1953 International Convention in New York.
