Fred,
if randy said that some elders has died, you would said that all the elders you know have never died.

You know what Fred,
when i was 17, at my first attempt to suicide, i have a particular visit of the elders.
The says that they were with me but just after they said to me that they can't accept my request of baptism, they taked this fucking Bible to show me that Jehovah don't like suicide, but yes, they want to encourage me...
How could they said one time a gentle word and immediatly after a cruel word, is still for me a mistery ?
Thanks god, this is the only time that they tried to helped me, they were after that terribly busy to tried to comfort me another time.
This is the kind of people you want to be prince on earth. Paradise ?

Hi,
As far as i can read english, this is a good witnessing, not angry, clear and not agressive.
For the masturbation's issue, i don't know really the number of young or not young who has this problem on the org, but the one who has not this problem, in my opinion, is really an exception.
But a lot are hypocrit and don't care and can talk about it in a speech like the organisation want them to talk.

A TRUE BELIEVER
by Norm inwhat happens if someone actually takes the bible serious?
really acts upon its message?
history have provided us with many examples of this and the watchtower societies second president personally had one particularly spectacular go at it.. the watchtower society second president j. f. rutherford was in a hurry to get the new system going while he was still alive.

Nothing positive to offer!
by cornish inthe biggest objection that most current borg members have to leaving is that even though there may be false and wrongs in their religion there is nothing better or nothing else which is positive that anyone else or anything else has to offer.
it seems that truth is not the primary criteria of most j w s even though they use the word truth in a completely habitual way, but they will not be shifted from a nice cosy illusion true or false, so how would you answer the objection that there is nothing positive to offer outside the watchtower?
how would you answer this in a direct and forthright way ?

Hi cornish,
What is your definition of "positive" ? Freedom of thing or stupid hope based upon human speculations ?
This is true, that when you leave the JW, you have the feeling to loose something. The reality is not so easy. You can't solve your new problems by thinking at the New Order or the resurrection. You must be in front your new problem.

The Watchtower and the Masons
by ozziepost inthe latest edition of the free in christ ministries journal contains a very interesting article entitled the watchtower and masons.. drawing upon material from the book the watchtower & the masons by fritz springmeier, it gives the following parallels between the things that c t russell believed and those taught by the masons:.
* both believe jehovah is the most important word being the basis of their dogma, and the name of their god.
* both believe god yielded power to a lesser god.

Hi scorpion,
I see certain ones asking for proof of Russells involvement, when the proof is shown, they act like it is not there. I guess the WT mindset still has a hold on them.
I think that assertions from Springmeier or others are not proofs.
Charles, I thought all churches were part of Babylon the Great, including the Catholic church. Of course the WTBTS is excluded from this.
So you are freemason ? Thanks to explain your opinion, but it was not the point. The point is how Springmeier can says that freemasonry believe in that... or that... ? Freemasonry has no dogma.
