I have seen other jokes on page 2 of other Consolation which could be considered for us as sexist or racist, but it is perhaps the mentality of the days ?

Consolation on Demand
by chasson ini have a lot of consolation magazines that i could scan.. if you want a particular issue for research, tell me and i will scan it, and you can tell to the board more what are your research, so everybody will have more insight.. .
here is one of this magazine concerning the madison square garden incident.
this incident is connected with the olyn moyle's trial and it is interessant to see the vision of rutherford concerning this.. he tried in this magazine to excuse the usher, because what he said on stage was "the word of jehovah", so nobody must stop the "spreading of the word of god".

Consolation February 18, 1942
As requested by Cabasilas. This is the first of a series of 4 concerning the "devilish" Japan. It seems to be a kind of "compromission" because America was in war with Japan at this time. A kind of "Your enemies are mine enemies", coupled with the booklet "fighting in front of the home door" ( this booklet tried to show that JW were fighters for freedom as the american troops in Europe).
In this issue, you can see a young JW boy who spend 60 hours a month in predication (150 during holydays) and a woman in Australia who at his death has donated his property for the acient worthies (David, Abraham) like Beth-Sarim (ironically at the same time the Society tried to sell Beth-Sarim)

So in 1877, the 40 years from 1874 to 1914, were not the time of the harvest , but "the time of trouble" ?

I have asked this question because i am surprised that the government during the trial of the seven directors has not used it, even if it has been published before the entrance of the US in the war.
