I love how almost all of the "worldly" pictures the person has an obviously cut for the picture pair of jeans on and almost always they are smoking, so if you are not a witness you smoke. OHHHHHHHHHHHH in the Knowledge book there is a section on family happiness the family portrayed has a picnic. For one family of four there is far more food than they should eat in one sitting, gluttony anyone?

Mine will be a little less of a long breakout but with several things.
- Being raised in a congregation that refused to return any official title to my father though he had been off of reproof for 10+ years.
- Having elders in same said congregation go to my father while he was in a mental hospital getting treatment for depression and saying something to the effect of we will get you out of here, he refused because he knew he needed help.
- Being told from childhood on that the end was soon and being given the impression I would never graduate high school, I am now well past that, and divorced.
- Having virtually no support on diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes even though I had just finished pioneering for one year.
- Seeing people use jc as catholic "confession".
- Having many questions about things but knowing I couldn't ask them because all the instances the questions involved would be considered "demonic".
- Questioning the reasoning behind minor holidays.
- Knowing of several rapes, and abuse cases where no reprimends were made and individuals involved were urged and therefore did not press charges.
- The blatant amount of "cliques" that blatantly did things that were anti witness but never got into trouble
- Ultimately while being df'd before and trying to return to the org and still being shunned by the family with the exception to make sure I wasn't dead

Drop hints to your significant other at the convention
by ithinkisee inconsider this your apostate service meeting schedule for the district convention:.
there are a few talks that you can maybe make some off-handed comments to your significant other that may seem harmless at the time, but you can use to your advantage down the road as you break the news to them about what you have been learning about the "truth".
i did some of these myself and plan to draw on them when i break the news to my wife.

I heard it's also called pin the lapel badge on the attendee convention. There was mention by a po that everyone should wear thier badges especially because two talks in particular one day will talk about the badge cards and thier importance.
Is this similar to radio collars? Do they have gps tracking hidden in the card?

The anti-rejection drugs are still a high price to pay for this "cure" though. This is one of the reasons I am in favor of stem cell research.
I agree on that completely, thats the main reason I haven't volunteered to be a test rat for the new "cures" yet. Yep I'm a type 1 diabetic, been one for close to 9 years now, do you think any of that had anything to do with the analysis of my life and decision that I needed to make a break?

The Irony never ceases...Analysis of the "Daniel" Book
by riotgirlpeeps inthe latest book being studied in book study is the pay attention to daniel's prophecy book published by the org in 1999. the following is paragraph 31 on page 29. even this testimony is not enough for many bible critics.
after considering this subject thoroughly, one cannot help but wonder if any amount of evidence would be enough to convince them.
one professor at oxford university wrote: nothing is gained by a mere answer to objections, so long as the original prejudice, there cannot be a supernatural prophecy, remains.

So thier prejudice blinds them. But that is their choice-and their loss.
Does anyone else find it amusing that this same paragraph could apply to those within the org? Don't listen to them, they are apostate. They are bad. It's their choice and thier loss.

How many of you consider yourselves Pagan?
by FreedomFrog ini've started on a path that is very comfortable for me almost a year ago.
and now i'm wanting to see how many believe a similar way.. i looked into wiccan, celtic, eclectic and other forms of pagan.
i think that i've settled down into shamanism since that was the path my grandfather went.

Ironic isn't it that people outside of the "love" of christianity seem to be the least judgemental.

Now once the testing is done I might be rid of it.
Ironic too that insulin used some of the old insulins that were derived from animals came from portions of blood cells if I'm not mistaken.
