Men In The Girlie Department.
by Englishman inhow do other guys feel about going into women's clothes shops?.
i spent ages with her ladyship in the per una section of marks & spencers today.
i was quite happy to bumble about behind her and even managed to achieve some nonchalance while i was waiting for her to try stuff on in the changing rooms.

City person or Country person

i travelled alot recently and i passed through many major cities, and i saw the contrast between nice small quiet towns and huge cities with so much traffic.. so, where would you rather live, in a quiet small town where there isn't much to do,but where it's quiet and there is not much stress, or in a big city with lots of traffic jams, where life is more expensive, but where there is more to see?.
i like the smaller town life.

Give me 50-100 acres of land and i'll put my house right in the middle of it!!! I hate having noisey neighbors, barking dogs, teenagers with loud music, people working on their cars etc...I don't want a neighbor within 10 miles of me, and thats how I would have it if I could!

So legolas how do they explain thier reference to cousins?
If you mean animals, I remember the lady that studied with me saying something like artists can tell who painted a picture by the way they painted it,strokes, colors etc....The same was with God, He veried the animals, but made some of them simlar. Something like that anyway is what she said.

More fluff, how many remotes does it take to watch TV?
by wanderlustguy ini have 3 here, counting the one for the xbox dvd.
one for the cable box, and another for the tv because it's a dish network flatscreen and they don't share all the codes with the time warner remote.. i know...makes no sense.. .

Do you secretly wish for a demon attack - serious question

i am not trying to compete with fmz as he has a supernatural thread going already but - do you secretlyt wish for a demon attack - serious question - the reason i ask this is because - if i had a demon attack it would mean there was a satan the devil and if there was a satan it would mean there was god.
what i am trying to say in a nutshell is "a demon attack would actually strengthen my faith" where at the moment it is non-existent almost

NO. It would scare the sh*t out of me. NOT that I am saying to do this but have you ever tried a Quija(spelling ?) board? Or look into unexplaned things? In my opinion there has to be something going on, like I said in another thread I know people who have had things happen to them, not to mention all the hundreds of thousands even millions of people who swear things have happened to them.

friend of mine with dilemma
by burnthepig ina good friend of mine has a coworker who is a witness.
they have a good working relationship and are somewhat of friends, at least in that arena.
today at work this woman told my friend that she had something important to discuss, that could not be talked about at work.

If I was her I would ask what is is about and that if it was about religion, that I wasn't interested that I have my own views and would like to be respected for them as I respect that she has her own views!!

hello all - new here
by GoingGoingGone inhello everyone, this is my first post.... i'm in the process of fading after being a jw my entire life (almost).
i don't go to meetings anymore..... hubby's an elder, and boy, is he mad.
he still makes the kids go with him to meetings, service, etc... they hate it and i feel sorry for them, but there's not much i can do about it.. i've been feeling lonely today, i do miss my friends sometimes, and i have really good friends, but since i don't go to meetings i never see them much anymore.
