I read the board everyday...I don't post alot but I get a sense of family when I am here. You guys have all been where I have been. Just different horror stories. I appreciated each and every post and welcome new members.

there are so many different personalities and it so interesting to see any ones "take" on a subject.
the intellect, humor, or just honest responses and real life experiences fascinate me.

I watched the season's finale and got hooked. I had to rent the first two seasons to see what the heck was going on. Now I can hardly wait for Wednesday night. I have never been addicted to a TV show before. Very strange show that makes no sense but has us all locked into it.

Not good, not good at all

sorry to burden you all with this but i really have no one that i want to talk about this with, i'm afraid that i will burst into tears and wont be able to stop if i call any of my friends and tell them what's going on.
my little sister has been ill with a fever for three weeks, her doctor kept telling her it was just a bad case of the flu and that she had an ear infection, he gave her antibiotics and sent her home.

Welcome, welcome. This is a great place as you already know from lurking. I did the same for a long time and finally got the courage to join. It was the best decision I have ever made. I DA in June of this year. I have received so much encouragment from the people on this board. Hope you do too.

it's a cd recorded at bethel of a few select jws singing some of the more popular kms .
by the way, it always bothered me that most of the songs are sung by men.

by Will2Power in..and then sought to justify your leaving the organisation/religion by researching websites like this (to salve your conscience, justify continuing in your pleasurable but unscriptural lifestyle), or did you sincerely leave purely because you discovered certain false teachings, scandals, etc, while still living a moral, christian lifestyle?
be honest now, i mean really honest.

i left the org because they made a concious decision to join the very disgusting thing I had been taught to stay away from. I was and still am a very moral person or at least try to live my life in a way that would please God and His Son Jesus Christ. After I left I found out about the the other things the org had been involved with and I realized why there was no real love left. Jehovah had left the building!

Goodbye.........
by whyamihere init's not forever, i just need some time away.
this is by no means a plea for attention.. this board has made me realize i am not alone, with my feelings and thoughts of the org.
however, i need to get my life in order around here - i need to spend time with my husband and children and start finally living for them(and me).

I finally am home
by hambeak ini had a relapse from the meds in my treatment and got quite ill and spent a couple of days in the hospital i seem to be doing ok now and missed a dinner date with one of you in little elm.

The Dud's Came Calling Today!
by Legolas inhubbie, myself and our son were outside building our garage when i heard a car pulling in, although i am the only lucky one that saw them .
anywho as soon as they saw us they hightailed it away...now there was only always 4-5 people i went out with (arwen being one of them...hi arwen.
btw....this same person (the pioneer with her husband) met my son and his girlfriend about a month ago at the farmers market so my son said hi because he has been working at the same place with the husband for the last year....and she comes back and says...'i don't know you'... then turns and walks away.....wtf...what an idiot/retarded/stupid thing to say!.

You must have been shocked!! What love she showed for you...her dear friend... I wonder who else was in the car with her? There was no need for her to be miserable to your son either. It is one thing to just turn your head away but to say something mean was uncalled for. Just be glad we are free, Legolas!!
