  Do You Have A Negative Outlook Because You Were Once A JW?

  it could be argued that exjws have issues in life simply because they were jehovah’s witnesses at a point in their lives.

  .

  do you think you or we are fairly normal considering we were jehovah’s witnesses or do you think we have a lot of baggage because we are a bit messed up ( even if we don’t even know it)?.

  I seem to have a lot of negative thoughts. PTSD for sure. Can’t tell my story without crying yet but it includes children being abducted by their JW father at young ages and keeping them in hiding in another province for six months. He was aided by other JW families. I’ll never get over that. Ever. 😥😥

  witnesses brag about their brotherhood and incredible love that exists within the organization.

  they say they are really the only true religion.

  is the jw religion the closest thing to jesus christ himself?.

  Conditional love. Doesn’t matter how close a family member or close friends. When you leave they are done with you no matter how much they “loved” you. 😥😥

  the scaars corporation was formed october 3, 2018 by barbara anderson and former elder, roger bentley and his wife, karin.

  on the home page of the scaars website, scaars.org, you will find information that explains the goal of the movement - scaars: "changing laws - changing lives.".

  My JW Elder Brother Passed Away

  he was basically a good man, just a believer in the religion.

  when we were both elders we were best of friends and then things deteriorated when i was not an elder for a while.

  then after becoming an elder again, i slowly drifted away from the religion and he drifted further away from me.

  My JW niece is getting married ... typical JW drama

  we received an invitation in the mail yesterday for my jw niece's wedding.. i am posting this just to add for any lurkers to see typical jw practices.. 1st - and perfectly understandable for anybody who is or was a jw.

  i'm not invited.

  I had a friend with two daughters. One was baptized. Getting married at Kingdom Hall her older sister never baptized was going to be in the wedding. The elders said no and said she couldn’t be in the wedding with tattoos. She said if they didn’t approve she would stand outside the hall all dressed up on the wedding day but refusal to go inside. This was going to be her protest. When it all came down to the wire they did allow her to be a bridesmaid. I was a very very close friend to this bride. Like a second mother but because I had DA myself I was not invited. There is no sense at all in this cult.
