my left arm was feeling 'odd' last friday morning as i was getting dressed for work.
The medical directive that is being spoken about here is more then just the little paper the JWs give at meetings w/ elders signatures saying you don't take blood , right?
Cause i haven't updated that card in forever. Also when i gave birth the last 2 times all they did was ask, will you take blood in need be? I answer yes or no.. and thats it. No major issue.
ok...so i was cooking dinner last night and suddenly became nauseous and threw up 3 times.
i couldn't put anything in my mouth the whole night.
this morning i was feeling woozy so i managed to eat a bowl of cereal.
New Years Eve back in 1997 going into 98. I drank but for some reason didn't feel like drinking too much. Smoked... stuff but didn't smoke as much as usual. A few weeks later while taking a shower i realized i had missed my period. Then it dawned on me.. i didn't have one last month either!!!!!!
No sickness no nothing till much later.
Take a test since stress of this whole thing will also make your period late

my poor step-daughter went through what is called a jc meeting, 3 hours worth.
they have given her a week to decide before they df her.
she is only 18. gads.
yea... i am a bit confused on what exactly she is supposed to decide.
I feel for your daughter. I was also told that my parents needed to be careful about the association w/ me once i was Df'd. How sick!!!
And because I married a Df'd person my dad didn't give me a dance at my own wedding. He only stayed for the ceremony.

Sushi Crow- I was told the same thing about B-days- When they told me you shouldn't put yourself above others by celebrating your B-day , I then asked " Why do we have anniversary parties, graduation parties, and baby showers?" I am then given a 'you poor soul' smile and told to do more studies and attend meetings more often since i haven't been listening. I still haven't been given a concrete answer on why I shouldn't be joyful that either I was born or my children were born. --

i am not trying to compete with fmz as he has a supernatural thread going already but - do you secretlyt wish for a demon attack - serious question - the reason i ask this is because - if i had a demon attack it would mean there was a satan the devil and if there was a satan it would mean there was god.
what i am trying to say in a nutshell is "a demon attack would actually strengthen my faith" where at the moment it is non-existent almost
Does any jw or ex-jw remember being told that while being a JW bad things may happen.. like demons tempting you etc. But if you were to leave or become weak in your faith and the bad things stopped that mean that Satan sees that you are coming to his side henceforth no need to tempt you??? (was that the correct usage for henceforth??)

often i heard that with a brand new car, you can't drive at a constant speed for a long period of time, because it isn't good for a brand new motor.
they recommend driving at varaiable speeds and variable rpm for the first 1000 miles atleast.. just wondering if anyone here knows about this, and how many miles does it take for a new motor to be able to drive very long distances at constant highway speed without any problem.
I just spoke to my mechanic hubby and he has never heard of anything like that before. He did say something about 500 mile break-in then changing your oil. But nothing about not driving at a constant speed. Sounds silly to me.
one of my jw relatives was relating to me another one of their superstitious nonsense stories designed to demonize every damn thing that doesn't fall into an approved wt list.
she was telling me about a her friend, who upon cleaning a relatives house, found a voodoo doll with a prayer to demons written on paper that it took an hour to burn.
she also related to me how in the hour it took to burn the demon paper prayer, everyone around them getting sick and falling into convulsions.. i guess she was a little perturbed that i was .
