  Are Americans the prudes of the world?

  when i went to europe, i saw nudity in commercials, and other sexual topics used to advertise products.

  as an american, i was shocked to see such things in places that seemed out of place of such tools of such an extreme nature.

  i tend to feel, even to this day, that public nudity in advertising is something that is over the top.

  I agree Europe is so much more relaxed than the US when it comes to nudity and sex. Hey we're all human. You either have one set of parts or the other and everyone pretty much knows what they look like. I remember seeing bus ads in Germany featuring nudity. It was a shock at first but then you get over it.

  The only thing that bugs me is nudity in clothing ads. Abercrombie for example. Most of the time their models aren't even wearing clothes! There's also a Jones Jeans billboard in LA and the model is isn't wearing any jeans! Just a bare butt. They must be selling invisible jeans.

  There were are were two women with MS. A couple with breast cancer. Quite a bit of depression and anxiety. Although, I think MS and cancer are rather high in the general population in Northern CT, Western Mass because of all of the factories and dump chemicals into the water supply. Call Erin Brokovich!

  i have a five day weekend coming up between june 30th and july 4th.. i'm thinking about heading up to see new york city, so would some of you new yorkers like to have a mini-fest and show me the sights?.

  i'll need someone to refer me to a hotel that is in a good location for seeing the sights, but will not cost much more than about $100 a night.

  either that or someone could put me up in a spare room.. let me know your thoughts!!

  Well don't know if you can do that. BUT! Alas, there is hope! If you are familiar with Priceline visit www.biddingfortravel.com and see what people are getting in New York and at what prices. If you put in similar prices and locations, your bid on priceline should get you pretty much exactly what everyone else has had.

  It has worked for me: In Boston I stayed at the Hyatt Regency (formerly Swisshotel) for $46/night!! At the Millenium Hilton near Edgware Road in London for $70 a night! and the Holiday Inn in Kensington for around $70 a night. Oh, and put a friend up here in LA at the Hyatt on Sunset Strip for $56 a night with a city view.

  "the man shouted 'god will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.. "a lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery.".

  Perhaps he should waited until after feeding time.

  Poor lions probably thought that this was a special treat! I hope they don't punish the lions for this. Some zoos have a policy of putting the animal down if the maul someone.

  I drive an 06 Cooper as well!! I love it. Mine is red with white roof and mirrors. Although, the roof is almost non-existant because the sunroof is HUGE! It is so fuel efficient.

  The emissions are another story. On the California smog index, it's pretty high compared to similar sized vehicles. But maybe it's just a California thing. We are pretty tough with that stuff. Most people who move here from out of state with their car need to get special repairs to meet smog requirements.

  That's usually a classic porno plot line. People get caught in a cave or something or the end of the world is coming so they pass the time with sex.

  Yeah, I never understood why they are so against masturbation. There are various documented medical benefits (build up of the immune system, tension release, reduce the risk of prostate cancer). Growing up we had a pet bird that used to masterbate and my mom would try to stop him but he just kept doing it. Eventually she just gave up. She said, "he doesn't know right from wrong"

  this afternoon, i took my girlfriend and her boy who is visiting her to sonic in a small town near here called castroville.

  right next door to the sonic is a pizza hut.

  we sat outside sonic at the tables, in the 92-ish weather, with a gentle breeze making the stay nice.
