hey y'all!

i'm producing a documentary entitled "disposable teens" about glbts that have been kicked out of their home/family after coming out.

i would like to have a few jw stories in the mix since it's an issue near and dear to me.

Russian JWs in the hood!

i spotted two russian speaking jws doing street witnessing in my neighborhood.

i was going to say something as i walked by but didn't know if they were actually russian or americans that speak russian.

there would have been a lot of confusion.

"The Secret" - Movie

so my friend made me watch the "movie" the secret last night.

it's basically a movie about the concept of visualizing and how we can achieve anything we want if we just picture it and not think about the negative.

so my mom called as promised today.

she really didn't have much to say besides she stands by what she has to say in her letter.

(i can no longer stay over night at her place when i fly out there, i am limited in the things i can talk to her about) i told her that it really isn't in my own best financial interest to visit anymore as i not only have to pay for a ticket and rental car, but now i have to worry about staying in a hotel.

recently, my mom was threatened by the elders to stop associating with me or else.

i guess she feared i was becoming an "apostate".
