I'm sweet cancer. I'm very much the homebody. I make a lovely home where ever I live, lots of flowers, sexy interiors, good food. I need alot of loving, holding and squeezing. My first husband was a Virgo, very intellectual, which I admired, but starved for his touch and attention. This time I made no mistake and married a very loving Taurus! Yes! I have used Craigslist for so many things! I found this cottage on the list. I bought a fiddle and sold a noisy cockatiel. I look at job opportunities and furniture for sale! ITs just great. That website is right up there with this one!!!!

Did anyone else have a bad day yesterday????
I spent the day hiding in my remote canyon retreat with my new book "The Compassionate Life" by the Dalai Lama. How refreshing! I feel like he is really there in that little book where I 've placed the marker. I read a bit, then go do some laundry or watering, then go back to the book and chat with him about the universal truths. Its nice.
(But he's not near as fun as all of you guys and gals! I actually missed you all! Is that what it means to get hooked on this forum?)

by not the administrator inmine always thinks i'm going to hook back up with a witness ex girlfriend or i guess dump her for god.
ive not been here long but shes not to happy with it.

Great timing with this topic. I was doing fine for the first week on this forum. Then last night I had a private discussion through the mail box with someone and we really let our feelings loose.
I actually started feeling really remorseful and sad and downright repentant over things done 4 years ago and even thought to throw myself upon the mercy of elders (who dont even know me in this new town) and apply for reinstatement. (In the light of morning.....yech to that!)
My new husband has been supportive of a happy transformation if this forum can help me do that. But last night I saw his concern. He is my body guard now. No one, no organization, no forum, no God is going to harm me with him around he thinks.
I need to back off from this conversation for awhile I think and return to my Zen books........very
lightweight and guilt free living.......more my style now.

Yet another "My Story"
by mapleaf18 inmy story: and i apologize in advance for the long post.. i was born to special pio parents and i attended my first meeting when i was 6 days old, which was unusual in the 50s and 60s because babies were usually quarantined for the first month or so.
my mother had a poor childhood and was often placed with uncaring relatives which served as foster homes.
my father was raised in a single parent home by his divorced mother who was looking for answers.

Interesting. I began reading books on Zen Bhuddism a month ago. I liked the reasonableness of letting go of erroneous thinking and looking at the world as it is and forming opinions and beliefs from what I as an intelligent human being observe. Where is it written on the back of a leaf I must do this or that? Where is written in the sky? My own human heart is my guide as sure as the birds know which way to fly and water knows which way to flow.
But I am cautious about becoming enamoured or charmed by any human group anymore.
I see the robes of the Zen monks. Robes and colors means ranks. Ranks equates levels of classes among the monks. Teacher/protoge Master/servant. Where are the women? What part do they play? Its the same thing over and over with all these manmade religions.
All the creatures of the field believe in God, yet they do not organize for worship.
Its a personal thing with each creature.
Your worship is private. Its your heart's song you enjoy giving to your creator.
Each creature is a self correcting entity.
I am trying to see everything logically and calmly these days.
Let no one attempt to noose me with an enslaving ideology!
I will bound away as fast as a deer and disappear into the landscape like a wild mountain lion.
I am free now and forever! -

My story - part One.
by diamondblue1974 ini have never posted my story on jwd and it was only recently that it occured to me that i should really make more of an effort to; here is the first part....sorry if its longwinded.... .
i was brought up in the borg from the age of 18 months old and as you can understand i have known little else.
previous to being in the truth my mother was an unwanted child and beaten by her mother, sure enough she fell into an abusive relationship with my father which left her with minus zero confidence and on the verge of a nervous breakdown; apparently my mum was considering throwing us both off a railway bridge she was that depressed and to her there was no point in living.
