No, actually she says she thinks faster then she types. I think she meant to say she thinks faster than she types.

Do you like this when it happens to you?
by free2beme ini have been on message boards for years, not so much former witness boards, but political or even just general topics.
in so doing, something always happens and i wonder if i am the only one who finds this annoying.. you type something, perhaps a topic or a response and you don't think it is all that important to check all spelling and make sure grammar is perfect.
after all, it's not school anymore and we are not being graded.

<div>I read it. I thought it was good. I think your friends will respect your decision to leave. It is not a rash decision as you said.</div>
You were not stumbled. It was more than that. -

What's Worse, Being Sued -- or Haunted?
by Country Girl insorry if this has been posted before, but it's just too wierd to pass up!
first they shun eating at the table of the disfellowshipped living, now they won't share their groceries with the dead!

I read about this case a month ago. It seems there is more to the story than is reported here. The building has a history. It appears that many many years ago it was a brothel upstairs or in the back and there was street talk of baby murdering, infanticide, going on in the place.
If this rumor is true, murder, I think there might be provision for the witness couple to get out of the deal. Even rumor could hurt their business. Asian people I think are very sensitive to these issues and it is going to be an asian restaurant. I think the couple has a good case personally.
I am interested in the outcome.
Thanks for sharing this again. -

I thought of something I'm really mad about!!!!!
There is a lovely valley nearby, a couple of miles from these canyons I live in.
It is filled with wild flowers and creatures.......wild geese in winter, coyotes, hares, possum, raccoons, squirrels and prairie dogs.
The beauty is the sort that artists can be seen along the highway in spring inspired to paint it.
Well the city north of us owns this lovely valley and has decided to enlarge itself and put 80,000 people in this valley. It is planned to be a little L.A.
What a crime that nobody is able to stop!!! The only ones to benefit are already rich developers and city officials.
The other day as I drove by a little coyote stuck his head out from the bushes. In his eyes there was a plea for my silence as to his whereabouts.
I'm so sorry. -

Dreams.
Go figure.
I sometimes think dreams are the overflow of subconscious thought during the day. I think we have thoughts we deal with and thoughts we dont deal with running in the background of our minds during the day.
These latter ones are the ones that surface in the night...the fears, the issues, we dont verbalize.
I have had no bad dreams since coming on this board......now three months.
But last night I had a doozy.
Dreams about the truth are not unlike other dreams. Your mind may pretend to have done the deed and be feeling it out, exploring what it would be like; the repercussions, the shunning, the freedom.
But dreams are not fully dimensional and cannot fully prepare you for all the day time balance of thoughts that play into our decision making process.
But dreams can be helpful to a limited degree. They allow us at night to see a situation from another point of view other that our restricted day time thinking. -

Schne, very cute! The tent looks like he is camping!!! I have two chihuahuas (not the teeny yapping kind) more noble Doberman pincer looking ones. They are my son and daughter. Hubby and I take great pleasure playing mom and dad to them. Its great when you can leave your kids locked in the bathroom with a bowl of water while you go to the town's centenniel fair, as we are doing tomorrow.
Enjoy your boy!

Whatever happened to the theocratic thinking that we should not cause envy in our brothers and we should drive modest cars and adorn ourselves modestly and live modestly to set the example to others not to be living for this system of things?
Back in the 70s Witnesses actually thought and taught this way. -

Is there anything that "only the JW's preach" you still believe in?
by JH in.
i don't know what to answer to my own question.... i guess that i still believe in a paradise earth where humans could live forever.

No T.S. we cannot be "friends" yet. Although you are very handsome, I cannot trust you yet.
Let's see over time how tolerant you are to those who still have some affection for the WBTS.
You see, I believe some here have been terribly hurt and offended by their experience in the society.
A HUGE WALL OF RESENTMENT stands in the way of seeing anything positive about it.
I understand that. I accept that. I have said many times in many posts that people will dissappoint us.
People err. People stumble us.
Also, many just think religion is crazy! I respect that view too.
I would never viciously attack anyones view.
I actually wish I could break free like some say they have and live my life apart from God and scripture and a hope for the future. It seems so simple.
But I cannot. I find soul satisfying hope that I seem to soak up like a sponge when I read the Psalms.
Anyway, I am here because I have enjoyed reading yours and others posts. You write so freely and speak your mind with conviction. I like that. I'm happy for you.
But T.S. I am rather a tender spirit who cannot take the heat of debate and arguing and who will shrivel and die if attacked here. I saw what happened to Dfd and I was horrified by it.
Peace to all,
Anewme
