What Works Best on Exposing JW's? All of the above....

there are some days when i log in here and because of my own views on governing body dogma (which is, its a big smelly stinky wet pile of shit), i find myself writing essays about subjects concerning how nutty their doctrines really are, how weak they are.

so i do these expose's and at the end of it, i feel better, because i know, (i know!

) that the governing body are cynical liars, and that their doctrine is total crap.. i know this is good for those who actually care enough to take up the gb on its offer to "study the deeper things", might question what they find, and want some other info... thats how it started with me.... lately however..... this other way, where you simply mock jw's.... when i first came here, i was pretty sensitive to that.

..... and all other 'believers' don't know that they are right they simply believe they are. Belief cannot be exposed and can rarely be reasoned with since belief by its very nature is our human response to a lack of evidence but it can be dislodged if it is constantly brought face to face with its cause and questioned therein.

Those outside the watchtower can see easily that it is built on nothing substantial beyond clan bonding, nothing remotely factual and is in fact - like all religions - a form of cage or social constraint - but for those within the cage looking outwards it is almost impossible to conceive that they are mentally trapped

and instead see the very bars that constrain them as in reality part of the cage that entraps those outside; as a caged animal at a zoo may percieve the human visitors as caged so the believer thinks they are free and unencumbered and all others just haven't realised yet.

To expose the cage one must merely hold up a large enough mirror. To expose the watchtower or any false system just hold up the mirror. My mirror was held up - inadvertantly -by a good friend who left my belief system and finally allowed myself to ask - and face the question - what are my beliefs actually based upon? Once I was brutally honest with myself I found my cage door wasn't even locked.

even though i didnt have the title of elder, i was still active in my work at bethel and the congregation used me as much as possible.

when the congregation recommended that i once again serve as an elder, one elder raised the objection that that barbara was a low-hour publisher.

District Convention 2009 Complete Audio Recording. Why not for general distribution?

i have a complete recording of the 2009 district convention.

at the beginning, the speaker says that if you do record the convention, you are not to use it for general distribution.. why not?.

if the assembly is a public event why not get it around as much as possible?.

I'm sitting listening to it. How different the talks seem when you can listen to them outside the brainwashing atmosphere of the convention.

It is so regimented and scripted and false it hurts.
