This is the deal. Thick ~ preferred. Perhaps this is my mother comming out of me but I can be attracted to a person that people would go huh? about. The thing is I've got to be able to talk to you. Please don't bore me or I'll have to throw a rock at you. All the hot/thick/etc in the world can't make up for a flat personality.
LMAO @ pratt
Thank you daystar, dependable as usual. Oh, I'm sorry, thats my drool puddle

KATE MOSS OR KATE WINSLET?
by Mary ini just read that kate moss has been given more modelling jobs now that she's been a whole month "clean" of using cocaine which is how she kept her body at skin and bones.
i hear lots of women say they'd "love to have a body like hers", when we know the only way she can keep that skinny is by using drugs.
i was told that i was "just jealous" and that "all women would like to be that thin.

Has Depression & Anger Lessened Since You've Stopped Attending Meetings?
by minimus ini see a lot of happier people around here.

Guilt seems to creep in here and there. Most of the time the general happiness regarding my energies being devoted to something worthwhile of my choosing over-encompasses any fleeting negativity. Truly, I love my life. It is what I choose it to be.

Negative on the skinny ghost rider. I dont want none unless you got buns hun.
Seriously, thick women unite, stand, be proud. Skinny girls who look like little boys are not attractive. All of the things that make women women become erroded by advertising. I need meat.

My bubble isn't burst. I'm trying to get a more balanced view. Perhaps I'm skewed. That is not my desire. I just loved mixed anything. I love the way the children are. I love how the cultures mix in the home. Color really doesn't have to even come in the mix. It is just easiest to discern from the outside. I think Cubans and Mexicans are awesome.

A brief aside
I love women. Tall, short, thick, skinny, brown, yellow, red and all shades in between. I even love the green women on the original Star Trek. Perhaps the reason I like women outside of my own background is simply that I hate fitting into a pre-concieved mold of what I am to be or what I am supposed to be attracted to. Why is it that in all of the Society's literature, there exists no cultural diversity in the couplings?
Am I seeing things?

bad day, bad year
by Cygnus inspent all day today downtown being shuffled around to this building and that trying to get temporary assistance.. what a nightmare.. everyone tells you something different.
and it's so humiliating.
i didn't work my ass off for 17 years for this.. it's just very hard to think of losing my fiance, my house, my job, my cars, the use of my hands, electricity and heat, all in 8 months.

My sister and I are so much alike that behaviorly its hard to distinguish the two. She is my negative voice, one that I fight. She throws pity parties and buys herself pity gifts. In her mind her life is as it is because of other people. This is my natural inclination. I hate it. I fight off and kill this seemingly innate desire to feel bad about the day. The only thing I have control over is me. So I try to exercise it. I'm not you Cygnus. I couldn't begin to imagine what you've gone through the past year. I do know what bad years are though. All you can do is take responsibility for what you can control.
I got hurt on a job when I was 19. I thought my life was over. I am 28% disabled. I lived on hand outs, beans, ramen, warm bedding near a fire place and hope for 8 months until my lawyer finally got me workers comp. I promised myself that if I was going to throw a pity party that it would only last 15 minutes. Some days I failed at this... most I succeeded. Take ownership of what you can and f*ck all of the rest.
I send you good vibes

Can someone help me decide what to do?
by Kaylen incan someone give me some feedback on what they would do in this situation:.
last weekend my best friends husband told me that three years ago he caught (and spied on for about half an hour) my husband and my very best friend "getting hot and heavy" (his words) in our spa and that he watched them because "he found it hot".
the three of them decided that they would not tell me and kept it a secret for the last three years until he told me (because he was drunk at the time).

The problem with concealing betrayal is that it makes the innocent party wonder what else has been kept secret. On that same bend it makes the innocent party pained and stressed as to whether the secret would have ever come out, further complicating a trust made fragile. Lying about a betrayal is worse than the actual betrayal IMO. I feel for you. Don't let people walk on you, it sets up a pattern of disrespect ~ I KNOW. -

Lucid Dreaming -- Ever done it? Can you do it at will?
by AlmostAtheist insomething tipped you off; a guy with a hat made of dead fish, your mom complimenting your clothing choice, wording on billboards change each time you look at them -- something that you know wouldn't happen in real life.. sometimes in dreams you just buy it, like it's perfectly normal to wear a fish hat.
but some lucky times you catch it, and then all bets are off!
fly, eat like a pig, kick puppies -- the sky's the limit!.

This is going to sound stupid but for a time I could do this at will. The "skill" came from watching an episode of Voyager. One of the characters would implant something into his dreams that signaled that he was dreaming. He used the full moon. I have been able to use that same imagery before in my dreams. At one point in my life I was dying a lot in dreams. I would awake in physical pain. I hated it. So with this, I was always looking for the moon even in awake time. Sometimes it would appear for a split second and I'd hold onto it and then reform the dream as I saw fit.
Once I demolished an entire landscape and reformed it as I saw fit. It was the ultimate feeling of power.

Yeah that sold me on the concert. It's in a really small venue. I liked the sickness by Disturbed but their second album was garbage. 10000 fists is pretty good. Then they said CoC was opening and I was like "BUY!" Gonna be sic
