  ok. i feel like i'm the only one on this discussion board who hasn't met at least one member.

  so i figured it was time to open my door and invite ya'll in for some southern hospitality.. i live in horn lake, ms which is about 35-40 minutes from memphis (depending on traffic).

  so you can use that to gauge how far you are from me.

  Derrick, How do I put myself in line for it? Have I done something to take myself out of line for it? Would putting myself in line for it mean that I should ally myself with the organization since they truly seem to be the only ones preaching in the manner that they do?

  He wasn't specific Dave. I think it was the composite sign that he was refering to. Not sure. This was at the end of a two hour debate with someone who argues as well as I do, in the same style that I do. I was on fumes. I am afraid that he will categorize me into the group of people who "Put off the time of the end" and I dont want that. He is at least reasonable with me. He is a rare thinker.

  At one point he said, "No matter what you say, where is there to go to? If JW's aren't the closest thing to what we are looking for in the true religion, then what is out there for us?" I told him that this question means one of two things, (1) Either God is wrong, or is being his usual vague self or (2) There is no God

  By that, do I have Jehovah's spirit because I don't follow the slave? Honestly, that has kept me up at night before. Does the slave because they've made mistakes in doctrine? Where is the line of demarcation? Edited to say: I do know Sauls story by the way

  Um, I dunno. I don't know what that sneaky bastard is up to. Do JW's? I dunno.

  He says you will know them by the fruits their fruits. Who am I to judge anothers fruits? Who am I to say who has the holy spirit and who doesn't? By this am I to judge who God's people are? If that's the case, why didn't old Charlie find the group of people who were loving, kind, joyful, etc before he went out and damned us with the abomination called the WBTS?

  I had a two hour conversation with a friend last night. Frustrating. It was like arguing with myself. He raised several points that under the blanket of too much thinking, I couldn't accurately answer. I told him I'd bring it up at my next ex-JW anonymous meeting.

  Hi, My name is CoolHandLuke and I'm an "apostate". He said in the argument since he couldn't disprove my research on 607/1914 that for this argument we'd throw it out. "It's just a date, Dominick. The signs of the times are what matter." I told him that the date did matter because if it is wrong and Satan was cast out of heaven on another date, in another year, why did nothing significant happen in that year? Wasn't he angry? Deaf ears. His belief is that the reason that the society does not publish retractions for things like this is because the "masses" wouldn't understand. A mass exodus would occur. I told him that at least then I'd respect the slave. I respect Jesus for sticking to his principles regarding the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood. If you want to leave, go. Your ignorance and lack of reasoning has damned you.

  HOW MANY JW'S ARE REALLY "KEEPIN IT REAL?"

  i know a girl in my hall who completely fabricates her "personal comments" during the wt study to make herself look better.

  she concocts these expierences about her witnessing to class mates and teachers and even adds in a little joke or two for a ha ha effect from the audience.

  i always see her after the meeting and she always got that grin like 'yeah, i made it sound good didn't i?

  Nah. If I was going to do it, I was going to do it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not comming from a holier than thou place. I just saw it as, Jehovah sees it all anyway. Why lie? All of my experirences were real. If I was doing something wrong, I told on myself and removed my privleges on my own. I spent my time at school by myself or reading or with teachers (loser). But I was proud of that. I came dressed in suits my senior year nearly everyday so that I could go out in service after school. I felt that being made fun of made me a martyr of sorts. It was my badge.

  Comments ~ I was talking to someone about this just yesterday. I would study for hours for the Watchtower study to make a comment based on the most obscure, buried piece of information. I wanted to expand the minds of the other publishers. It rarely happened. But when it did, I felt like I belonged. I felt this was how I proved to Jehovah that I was faithful.

  (Just threw up in my mouth a little bit)

  Dear Dogs and Cats

  the other dishes are mine and contain my food.

  please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do i find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.. the stairway was not designed by nascar and is not a racetrack.

  beating me to the bottom is not the object.

  I love dogs. I'm not the fondest of most cats, however some have grown on me because of exceptional personalities. Big dogs are the best IMHO. Cannot wait for a house where I'll have enough room for a pair of Malamutes. Not too sure I'm about having the dogs in the house. Perhaps this goes back to my mothers raising. "Animals belong outside". Since having a cat crap all over my bed while I slept, I'm not real eager to have an animal sleep in the same room with me either.

  That cat was so vindictive. He looked at me with an evil eye. Wanted my girlfriend for himself. Little bastard!
