  i received a phone call from my mother (who is still a jw, but very accepting of me still as her loving son, even though i was disfellowshiped for questioning the oranization and choosing the bible over the watchtower at that time).

  she makes normal talk, just regular stuff pertaining to situations of ours.

  about me coming to visit, and or her coming.

  What do you think the witness are saying about the weather

  i think the witness are probably happy with anticaption that this just might the closing of this syestem of things.i mean crazy weather here in the northeast and flooding in austrailia.all the signs are their.

  i think they are just eating this stuff up.

  tell me what you think, have any witness you encountered said anything about this crazy weather.

  Got to Mess with some Witlesses on my Vacation

  so this last week i went to visit a very dear friend of mine about 21 hours away.

  she is one of the two people i have had a major hand in helping to see the bullshit of the watchtower religion.

  in any case, as we were driving through a neighborhood, guess what we saw.

  ...sweet....you must be VERY young or very gullible......or both. "apostates in the printing dept at bethel" .....surely the magazine rough draft is approved by the powers that be in bethel(GB) before final magazine is published & sent out to the congrgations.....surely

  What year Did you Stop Attending Meetings - How Long were you a JW ?

  i'm trying to compare some statistics and figures on this to share later in the thread to see if more long-time witnesses are exiting- or are newer witnesses exiting after a shorter period of time.

  and - are more people exiting in the last 10 to 15 years than before.

  so your answers would be helpful in looking into this .

  parents became jw in 1959...was 8 years old at the time...ms in 1976...stopped meetings same year....df in 1978...freedom at last. have never been to a meeting since & sure don't regret it
