  STOPPED BY THE KH IN ROCK HILL SC

  i went down to help my daughter move back here and while there i stopped by the kh.

  they were cleaning up the lawn and parking lot.

  another car drove up beside me about the time i got out.

  when you were in, did you go in service 'cause of your love of jehovah? i'm bettin' that if you were to poll 100 jw's & actually got honest answers, you'd find they do it 'cause they have to ! no love there........ when in, did you go to meetings out of love for the bible watchtower ? no love there...........

  i think that most jw's do it all because it is required.... by a bunch of geezers making a "burdensome" bunch of rules, not out of a genuine love for god, fellow man or wanting to serve god

  for what it's worth...i think the "friendly,kindness" you encountered is very shallow......gotta get new recruits....love bombing

  i was df bout a year back and have since been enlightened by a life long friend.

  i am leaning toward returning anyway but mostly for familyand friends.

  i recognize the hypocrisy of this move but also don't feel that i should be subject to there authority and in my current state i am.

  .....it seems, you're worried about "them" being in charge over you, having control, but if you go back "just to do it, on your terms", appears to me they will still have the control. just going back shows "them" that you give a shit about what they say,think about you....thus they will always have the "control."

  as it is now, you are "untethered" by there "ball & chains"......stay free...do your own thinking...make your own decisions...let them "think" they rule.

  just my 2 cents worth...

  the blues & you....

  .............when i'm here @ jwd, i always have my headphones on listenin' to streaming, non commercial blues from the internet, to me it just don't get any better.

  i'm a big blues fan...& listenin' & reading here does it for me.

  anybody else have any favorite music they listen to while here ?.

  The End is coming Pretty Soon, Folks

  i have been inactive from jws since 2003. i don't post here very much -- do more reading than posting.

  but i just had to tell y'all that i got a one-page tract this evening which is an invitation to attend the deliverance at hand convention.. yes...the end is coming pretty soon because never before in jw history has an invitation or tract been distributed to a city not designated a convention city.. the end is also coming pretty soon because i was told at the convention there will be a lot of talks about noah and what he faced.. in addition, the end is very near because later on this year there will be several announcements coming from the society.

  yes i am quitting the forum ,,, i cant keep up with you all.

  i cant remember whos who, so very happy that we have many many new ones,,,, .

  let me tell you i love you all ...i have been so respected by you all & shown much unconditional love..... i know many have my home e-mail..... so if any want to - they know what to do.. i have been on here a long time.... gus,gus ( my wonderful daughter still posts on occasions.
