  I had my baby and I am IN LOVE!!!

  i've been off for two weeks and come back and everything is different.. i just wanted to check in and let everyone know my c-section went well and i had a beautiful, healthy baby boy.. anthony tristan was born on january 31st at 4:18 pm.

  he weighed 6 lbs.

  1 oz.. he had some breathing problems and was in nicu for five days.

  Dissing the JWs....

  i've been inactive for a few years now, and yet, despite all i read, i can't feel as you mostly all do.

  i have a lot of happy memories of being "in the truth" (and i know how much some here hate that line) and fond memories of the meetings and assemblies, sure it was much easier to break away and live life like i am now,..... but well, thats just how i feel.

  i can understand those that may leave for personal reasons, but not sure i'll ever understand some here who have such a hatred of anything jw related.

  Why isn't the Watchtower the true religion?

  i have been asked by a jw friend of mine to share with him the reasons why i believe that the watchtower is not the true religion.

  what all do you think that i should share with him?.

  -i'm going to share the information about their hypocrisy in being a un ngo.

  When you give him that list....tie in the scripture at Deuteronomy 18:20-22

  When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You must not get Frightened at him.

  If there is some way that you can get him to read Raymond Franz' book COC he should surely come to understand that the Watchtower is not the true religion.

  ELDERS SCARE TACTICS DISS FELLOWSHIPING

  being reasanable to assume that,they are promoting fear within the congregations,keeping others from asking awkward questions,it seems that no one is interested in the reasons why that other person was named and shamed,what a way to control people , one minute they are your best friends the next minute you bump into them say in the high street and you dont seem to exist within there boundarys or vision ,.

  my remedy .if you are in this position is to greet them very loudly laughingly saying hallo there ,big wave big smile,be carfull of those paedophiles your mixing with.

  ( nice & loud ) next time they see you they will run to the otherside of the road,instead of trying to intimidate you.

  I know what you are saying.....I have never been DF or DA but they treat me the same way. I have not been to a meeting in a couple of years.

  Even my wife who still attends some meetings gets shunned when she is with me. We saw some elders at the auto show last year and they tried to pretend that they did not see us. We passed within a few feet of them. I pretended not to see them and did not say anything to my wife about it at the time. When we got home she told me that she saw them. A sister called her the next day and said that her husband saw us at the auto show and my wife said, "well, they did not speak". The sister said "you were too far away".

  What a bunch of BULL!!!!

  I am waiting for them to show up at my door too. I have something for them.

  In its own defence, The Adelaide congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses said doorknocking was voluntary and followers were not obliged to do it.

  Everyone knows that a person has to do Field Service in order to be qualified for baptism. You cannot even qualify to carry the MICs if you don't get a least 10 hours a month in FS.
