I sooo understand. I love my friends, we've been through decades of ups and downs together, and I miss not being with them like I was before. I dread the day I will be shunned, and I know it will hurt them to shun me. I don't want to hurt them, either.

- Goes to bed at 11:30 pm on New Years Eve.
- Hands out tracts to kids knocking on Halloween.
- Drives a 4-door sedan, preferably a minivan, because they make such good service cars.

i never had a problem with going door to door except for the holidays.. one, i felt like we were intruding on our neighbors who set aside time be with their loved ones.. two, it just made me feel more different and jealous that i was not celebrating the holidays with my family.. any thoughts?
Nope. Never did. I refused, I thought it was incredibly rude to bother people on the holidays. Because you always knew you would be a bother those days in particular.. either they were sleeping in, or spending much-anticipated time with their family, or preparing for family dinner later in the day.

right now my cousin, who has'nt even been a dub for years is likely dying because of the blood issue.
she signed no blood stuff likely due to her parents and a likely hlc member, jim rife.
she signed it apparently in a drugged or severely stressed state right before they put her into an incuced coma.

as some of you knew, my circuit assembly was this weekend (dec 24 and 25).
the theme was "clothe yourselves with the new personality".
i guess the society has to reinforce the idea of humility, because apparently, you can't mislead haughty people.. from the sound of the accounts report, people are voting with their wallets.. nothing particularly egregrious was said.. luckily my mother had a fever this morning, so we got to leave at lunch.

This sounds absolutely insane to me. How can they dare treat a grown man that way??!!? I'd be furious. Maybe I need to write a report on humility... NOT!!!!

i've been reading this forum for a while and i felt it was time to post my experience.
i am very comforted when i read others experiences and how similar they are to mine, i don't feel alone.. anyway, i learned the truth in 97, got baptized in 98. all of sudden i was getting prvileges, parts on the ca and dc and had friends that seemed to care about me and i cared for them.
eventually the love started to cool off, the meetings felt like watching reruns of a bland tv show.

I'm fading too, and my husband is still in. It's hard at times, but the freedom I feel being out of the WT is so amazing that I would never ever go back.

hubby has just come back from the service meeting where they have been handed out brand new style blood cards, now called 'advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment' .
it's quite a bit different.
and has the line on it about giving permission to the hospital liason committee to see your notes and medical records.. very scary stuff i think, and i certainly wont be filling one in.. i'm really short of time tonight, but will scan it in, along with the notes that go with it and try and post it some time over the next day or so if someone else doesn't beat me to it!.

I found a blood card in my husband's meeting bag... it's different than the one I had but the last one I had was 4 years ago. On the very bottom there are the identifying letters md-E then 3/99 then Printed in USA...... Does anyone know if the numbers are a date? Or is this just part of the ID name of the form?
I'll print the text here if this is current, but hubby's going to be home soon... Could this be the current US blood card?
