  K.K. totaly agree about I.T. people. I've never met one cool I.T. person, and being an electrician I've met a lot. I think they all actually think they're God or something. I like to point out to them that basicly they just work in building maintenance. Their job is to maintain and repair the computer network. Kind of like the guy who's there to make sure the toilets are working. It makes them soooo mad! It's so funny to watch them stand there in their preppy little polo shirts, and just fume.... And if they really piss me off, I just shut off there power. Whoops! Sorry, we must have to tweek the distribution system a little. When I get back from break, I'll look into it.

  An I.T. guy can't do anything without power.

  well, its been a while since i was made a unbaptized publisher.

  now my hand is going to be forced and i will have to be baptized by the end of the year.

  my gf wants my decision very soon, like the next couple of days.

  Sounds like she's trying to make you into what she wants. That's the thing about JW's, there lives center around appearances. If you wait too long to get baptized you'll start to look unspiritual. I mean anybody who is truly spiritual couldn't help but get into the Organizationas soon as possible, right? The longer you wait, the worse she starts to look in the congregation. Well there goes Sister Desperate, couldn't find herself a REAL JW man, so she had to go into the world. That's there attitude. Did you know that? If you wait too long to get baptized, she will start to get enormous pressure from her JW leaders to dump you. That may be from her father, mother, or congregational elders. It's not about love, it's about status in the congregation.

  My advice, run. Run as far away as you can. Once these people get their hooks in you they won't let go without serious pain!

  I am sure they were upgraded to anointed class if they let them on the GB

  That presents the same problem the last few appointments have. The Annointed class was supposed to have been gathered by 1935, wasn't it? When were these men born? Are we going to continually have a steady stream of new annointed ones, for the next 100 years? Will people begin to see through the ruse?

  Thanks for the article post Richie! I remember that one now. At the time I thought it was just silly. So that's it then. The GB has gone and appointed two new members, that aren't anointed. Wow........I'm just sitting here in shock. They couldn't even just say, hey they're from the GC. No they had to go and invent some special other "class" of Christian. Now we have the Annointed, the Nethenim, and then the Great Crowd.

  How do you get to be in the Nethenim class? Are they taking volunteers? Is there a sign up sheet somewhere?

  We really need a definitive explanation here. What does "given one" mean now? I've been out for too long to know. Are these men annointed? Or are they of the GC? This could be a MAJOR shift here.......please fill us in.

  well, we finally attended the dc.

  we couldn't go when assigned so we went this weekend instead.

  i will say what a fine spiritually refreshing weekend it was!

  My wife said the baptism talk made her sick. It used to be a rousing, faith inspiring talk, that made us all remember our love for Jehovah. This time it was entirely legalistic. Dwelling on loyalty to the organization. She also said that most of the talks dwelt on obediance to the elders and the FDS.

  Also, there where only 20-40 baptized at that convention. July in St. Louis, MO.

  ok, i like to tell myself to worry about now and what can i do to solve problems.

  i don't like to worry and think about the past.

  well, i was out with a couple friends i met, we were going to the movies, and i got in an accident.
