  JW litter-ature and Catholic hospitals

  i noticed that recently that people mentioned finding wts literature in their local hospitals.

  i don't know about the standard public hospital, catholic hospitals will be more interested in understanding that the literature is anti-catholic.. i have brought wt litter-ature to the attention of ladies manning the info desk at our local catholic hospital, and explained to them that the jws are extremely anti-catholic.

  and their being a private catholic hospital, they had no reason to permit that.

  I work in a Catholic hospital. One day, I watched as two brothers walked into a waiting area and spread out copies of the mags on every table. At the rear of the area, a receptionist watched them with a disgusted look. As soon as the two men left, she burst up and ran around gathering all the mags up. Then she threw them all away as she shook her head. I got the idea that this went on a lot.

  It was pretty funny to watch, especially when I thought about the beaming smiles those two dubs had on their faces as they sat in the car counting off their inflated stats, and all they had done was throw away some trash.

  Being SINGLE and premature death???

  a new study from the us suggests higher rates of "premature deaths" among single people.

  I agree with you--the study must be bogus. After all, it comes from the U.S., a nation of people filled with "arrogant, jingoistic self-righteousness and delusional state of pompous self-importance." I wouldn't believe a single word written by people like that.

  Our congregation is buzzing..................

  ..................yep thats what my sister said to me today.

  apparently after the dc, it was said that there may not be a convention next year and that its obvious the society knows something.

  she said the whole congregation are really excited and people are making plans to pioneer this year.

  The real impact of "apostate" sites

  in a recent discussion with a couple of district overseers and other heavies , the topic of the internet and apostate sites came up.

  i asked what impact these were making , numerically , among jws.

  the prevailing view was that , numerically , there was negligible impact.

  At the very minimum the internet provides a resource of information to those questioning the Governing Body. The key to the entire issue lies in the history of the organization, and who will control that history. For a totalitarian state, i.e. The Watchtower Society, to maintain power, it must control it's own history. Until the internet, the Society could deny it's members the truth about their religions past mistakes and changed doctrines. They can no longer do that. The internet strips the Society of the ability to deny the free flow of information, that is why I believe the internet will ultimately destroy the Watchtower Society.

  it's hot 85f and very humid 95% right now.....ewwww so uncomfortable.. i don't recall seeing such a humid summer.......it must be the end.....

  tikrit, iraq - two american soldiers thursday described in gruesome detail how their comrades allegedly killed three blindfolded iraqi detainees, one of whom was covered in brain matter and another who spit blood during his dying moments.

  This is indeed a terrible thing. The incident of the 4 soldiers raping a young girl and then killing her along with her family made me puke. I hope the young men get the punishment they deserve.

  However, these incidents do not mean the entire U.S. military is evil.

  Hell, if I judged all Canadians based upon Kid-A's online antics.....well, you get the idea.

  We went camping last weekend, on Saturday the temp was 103 degrees F with 85% humidity.

  That sucked hard! Luckily we were camped by a spring fed trout stream. We ended up sitting in the water with a few beers, and the temp seemed to drop considerably!

  KH Builds are a statistical sham!

  since i'm drinking whiskey (canadian if you must know), i feel like going on a rant.

  i'm sick of kh builds.

  Tornado watchs and warnings - Ontario

  they have been broacasting tornado watches for the area just west of torinto - right where halton hills (part of canadian bethel).

  there are also watches for the ontario panhandle which is the area where grace/mouthy is and a few other posters here.. i wouldn't mind if bethel disappear but hope no gets hurt.
