the second story, that of a child, came to the attention of the dalai lama and he sent a special representative to interview her and verify the story.
there have been many other rebirth stories published and the subject holds a special fascination for me.

Ian , I hope you are doing well, thank you for sharing that. I too believe in rebirth, I had not specified that before, calling it reincarnation, but in fact it is rebirth I believe in. I have been reading stories like this, and have come to the conclusion that there is something to this, it would be impossible for these children to have all these memories any other way. There is so much that we can now find out about, now that religion no longer blinds us.

Hi Dinah, I remember you, I too was on those boards, but have since moved on, I just got tired of the "This is still Jehovah's Organization but he is going to clean it up stuff" I no longer buy that. So I came here where I can truly speak my mind and there is great association with free thinkers like me.

This year since I started doing my research into the JW religion, I experienced something that made me a little confused, it was truly a beautiful experience being enveloped in love and just feeling like you are very in tune with your spiritual self, Jehovah and Christ, but as I continued my research I discovered it was only an emotional reaction, triggered by my mind and how I felt about the things I was reading in the bible. As my research moved forward and I began researching the actual bible I came to realize that the New Testament was put together by people pushing a political agenda to unite and empower the Roman Government.
I came to understand that books like Matthew, John, and others in the NT were anonymous works, given these names by the Priests that put it together. The same goes for the Old Testament, Moses did not write the books of Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy and Job as they would have us believe, I researched as most here have heard before, Ancient civilizations like the Sumerians who wrote things that later were adopted by the Hebrews and put into the book of Job, the Noah story the Proverbs, I was truly disgusted, although everyone back then did this, they all adopted each others myths, gods and such and just renamed them and changed them aroung a bit.
So no I don't believe anyone is annointed, some people are just more in tune with their spiritual side, others suffer from Dementia or Schizofrenia and confuse the symptoms with being annointed, but hey, everyone is free to think whatever they like, I for one have been freed from believing the stories and myths from some ancient book that has caused the death of countless people and stopped so many from reaching their full potential. I believe in God the Creator and my bible is the Creation around me, it cannot lie or be misinterpreted, or mistranslated or used to push an agenda, I see it as a living testament to the Creator.

I think I'm going to invent an official WTS literature incinerator, it will be metal, about 4 ft. tall (you need alot of available space, cause there's so much damn literature to burn) it would have a lid that would be easy to open, so you can easily dump in, the occasional tracts and magazines that you find folded up here and there under couches and so forth, there would be a compartment for wood on the bottom, as it is ecologically freindly, and then you light that baby up preferably in winter and gather around it with some hot chocolate and put that literature to some good use!
Heck, you could have a "literature burn in" that would be when you get some of the freinds that have also opened their eyes about the Borg and they can bring their
"Literature""Trash" and you all can gather around the fire and exchange stories about how many people you have helped out of the Borg, and other entertaining stuff. WHO KNOWS, I JUST MIGHT DO IT!IC
