  Theocratic Warfare: Is It Still Practiced?

  i was "in the truth" for about four years and was disfellowshipped thirty-three years ago at the age of nineteen.

  when i became involved, at age fifteen, i was taught 'theocratic warfare' which is 'lying for the truth.

  ' it really didn't bother me until i was several years older and became more introspective.

  I didn't really know about this until I went on the evil internet and there it was, the article about theocratic warfare, and it made me realize how evil JWs are. So you have to lie about that you do normal things, and not ministry things to the Judge, how hypocritical, its like going against the very fabric of being a witness. So far they didn't really teach me this thing, and I wonder why hmm.

  To what extent do JW believe in Ghosts/demons/wicked spirits

  i'm pretty confused by the fact that my mom says jw do not believe in ghosts, yet a sister commented about seeing things flying inside a householder whom performed witchcraft.

  to me it was sort of hinting to ghosts or demons are visible to the eye or maybe it was bats?

  also i remember one time in bible study, someone was saying how wicked spirits were bothering a family, and so they had to burn all their books on harry potter, and other ghost stories and after that the spirits stopped.

  So the question is do JW believe they can see wickedspirits?

  if the watchtower was god's organization on earth in the end times, wouldn't the bible talk about this?.

  there is no mention in the bible that you have to join a specific religious organization to have god's favor, or is there?

  Elder not calling us "brother or sister" at the book study

  a few months ago, i went to a couple of book studies, and i hadn't set foot there in years, but what stuck me was when the elder called people by their first names when he asked questions at the book study.. instead of saying brother rat, he just called me rat .

  instead of saying brother smith, he just said gary, and so on..... .

  either the elder was making it more friendly by using our first names in stead of saying brother or sister so and so, or it was a change in the way they operate.. .

  So far they call me brother, I'm not baptized, don't do any fieldservice, and keep myself private, don't talk much, and they still seem to think I'm baptized. One kid asked me to go out in field service, which totally shocked me.

  due to personal circumstances i was not able to spent a lot of time updating watchtower information service and posting on this board.

  but i am back!

  the last few months i spent many hours rebuilding watchtower information service into a dynamic website.
