  Strangest place you ever.....

  whats the strangest place you ever where encouraged?

  over the weekend i was at a birthday party for a close friend.

  half her family is hard core jw and the other half are inactive, she, her siblings and her parents are inactive and do the memorial thing, any ways, while at birthday party and one of her hard core elder uncles and his family where there and he was drunk of his ass!!!

  quit background, my good friend left the jw in 2004, divorced his wife cause she was a b*tch and a hard core jw in 2007. he was never df nor did he speak to anybody as to why he left the jw expect for me.

  he realized it was all a bunch of crap.

  he supports and houses his dad who is old and an elder.

  as a young adult, i did many stupid things in my life, including becoming a jw.

  however, that decision only hurt myself and not others.

  i was ignorant and to a certain extent fooled.

  2 JW just came to my office!!!!

  i work in a pretty large office building with several dubs ( i got a few of them jobs, not cause they where dubs but smart people), anyways, it's pretty obvious that i no longer go to meetings since i have a beard right now.

  2 sisters came by my office and asked how i was doing and invited me to the memorial and a gathering after at one of their houses.

  i thanked them for the invite and told them id pass since i already had plans for saturday.

  a memorial for jacklyn villanueva, 22, who was stabbed in pico rivera friday, has been set up with flowers, candles and her photo.

  Just spoke w/ Elders Pls Help

  i just got a call from an elder from my old kh, i have not been to meeitngs since april 2007. i recently took my daughter to thier first b-day party, (their cousin), anyways, they want to ask if i celebrate b-day now.

  i told them i'd speak with them later.

  so, since i ahve been inactive since april can they df me?????

  i just got back from court regarding my child custody.

  things will drag on for a while but, i'll be okay and i think i'll get the child visitation i want next month.
