I would really just like to know where you are coming from when you say that "I cannot believe people can be so closed minded to other possibilities." That is what is wrong with today's society. People think that you should be open minded to anything and everything even if it is morally incorrect. Liberals decide that whatever they want to do is fine. And when you actually know the Truth there is no other "possibilities." I would also really like to know what kind of "god" that you are at "peace" with. It is certainly not the one who formed and made all of creation, and it is certainly not the one who sent His son Jesus down to Earth to die on the cross for your sins. The BIBLE speaks of the one and only true Triune GOD!!! I am just wondering where you get the basis for your beliefs. I mean, you said that you were an ex JW, so what do you consider yourself? Did you just pull your beliefs out of a hat and say "This is what I'm going to believe today?"

It is just ashame Sixofnine, that you will never surrender to the Truth. I just pray that you find Jesus, the Savior of the World, before your time here on Earth is up. By then it will be too late if you have not called on the name of the Lord.

Oh, and about a list of Bible inconsistencies, maybe you could show me some of those. I am in Seminary and I have yet to find any Bible inconsistencies. Please list some "Historical Errors" if you could.

The Trinity: to believe or not to believe?

for myself, it took awhile for me to accept the trinity doctrine, but i finally came to believe!.

Understanding and Believing in the Trinity is an awesome thing.

In John 1, it states "In the beggining was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory of the One and Only who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

It's just cool then to look back at Genesis and see that it says "Let US make man in Our image, in Our likeness..." Us and Our meaning the Trinity. Jesus was right there with God in the beggining.

In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, the Bible says "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

You stated that "perhaps belief in the Bible as being inspired of God is the greatest blasphemy of all."

Is there any way that you can prove that the Bible is not inspired by God and is there any way that you can prove that the Bible is incorrect in any way?

I am sorry that you have strong doubts about God's existence. Without God you wouldn't even be here on Earth. It's quite a shame that you have doubts of God's existence.

And, what kind of evil has been "foisted upon mankind thru the ages" because of the Bible? Just answer me these questions if you think you can come up with your usual twisted answers.

In heaven we will give total praise and worship to the Lord. It will be so wonderful just to sit at the feet of my heavenly Father and just praise him for everything. I'm not sure exactly what it will be like, but I guess that's just one thing that is going to be so wonderful to find out. If you want to know more about heaven, The book of Revelation in the Bible would be a wonderful place to read about it. It talks of streets and walls of gold,etc. I also hope there are oreo cookies in heaven. :D

Who are you to say what is appealing and what is not. Psycho I'm not. Is there anyway you can back up what you said about "my God" being psychotic? And also how can you say that what God offers to us all is not appealing or desired? Maybe we should check to see who is the psychotic one here.

No, He is definetly not an unappealing God. He wants to have a relationship with us all.
John 3:16-"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

God loved us that much that He sacrificed His only son for us. But to add to that if we do reject God, all I'm saying is that He has a right to reject us.

To answer your question, I like to use the Roman Road.

Romans 6:23-"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 10:9- "...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Do not bring about things that happened centuries ago. My question was "How do YOU know if you are going to heaven?" And no, not to be harsh, but it is true that if an American Indian has not accepted Christ, he will go to hell. As is with everyone who doesn't believe in Christ Jesus. It doesn't matter if you consider yourself to be a "good person" or not. If you reject God then He is just and right if He also rejects you, and when you die say He never knew you.
