Do you sometimes feel really disconected from people?
by Aphrodite ini thought i had been going really well in my life until my mothers recent attempt at shunning me.
now im feeling like i don't want to connect with anyone.
i'm kind of disconnecting myself from my friends even, withdrawing.

This is so me.I feel the same way.I always tell myself I don't need anyone in my life I'll be just fine on my own.I don't get close to people easy.It takes me a while to warm up to even just being friends in a casual way with people.I don't have "feelings" for most humans.
Funny thing is I'm not like that with animals at all.I'll see an animal and instantly feel a connection with it.I'll intsantly fall in love with it and want to love on it.Animals are my saving grace.I actually have real "feelings" for my animals.I want to care for and help any animal I see.
I think it's because animals are safe.They don't hurt you.Not on purpose anyway.Humans do.I've been hurt too much by too many people I trusted.

Apostafest Christmas at A&W's- Guess who's coming to dinner?
by AWAKE&WATCHING ini am so excited about christmas, i've only celebrated 2 since 1978.. i will be having a mini - apostafest with some jwders on the saturday after christmas along with family (even some of my ex-husband's family).

I'm an open person.I'm not a fader so I don't have to worry about being outed.I've posted my personal information on the board and had it deleted by a mod.I don't really care if people know my name or location.Only because I DA ed myself almost 10 years ago.If I was a fader I wouldn't be so open with my information.
I've had someone approach me in PM after I posted what congergations I had attended.Turns out they knew me when I was a kid.I don't remember them but my Mom and Dad do.We have nice email chats from time to time.This poster knows my whole family and all the people I knew growing up.
Just be careful if you don't want to be found out.

I must have been out for too long because I can't even imagiane myself ever stepping foot inside a KH willingly.I was currious how many on the board still go and why.I understand going for family.I have done that before.
If my Mom ever needed me to help her get to the Memorial like I did a couple of years ago I would do that for her.She's in a wheelchair and needs help in the bathroom.If it came down to her not going or me going to just to help her I would go to help her.I would do that because she is my mother and she is important to me.It would make her happy and I like to make her happy when I can.Plus she understands I only would do that for her and no one else.I can sacrifice an hour to make my mom happy once a year if she needs me.

by Es ini havnt received mine yet, im just wondering how many others havnt either???
just incase mine has been registered so it can be tracked.
we have already had one bad experience this week, had to send on hubby's xbox console as it overheated and died, the post have "misplaced" it, im so glad we have it insured.. es.

That really sucks guys.I know it happened to me on another board 2 years in a row.Sad thing is I know who both my secret santas were supposed to be.I don't say anything to them about it.I just let it go.
