  so i started off as if i were going to make a photo message saying "i love you.

  " my daughter made one for me once and i loved it and i thought it was a great idea.

  i might ruffle some feathers here.

  we know in high school there is always a seperation of the students to a point, in groups or clicks... like the nerds, the jocks, preps, stuck up types, popular/not popular, druggies, bullies, etc.

  so after months of reading everyone here, i know there would be groups formed among all the members here, if we were to be put into a gathering situation.

  This school had a good emergency response preparation. The principal said "CODE BLUE" and the students knew what to do.

  Otherwise this may have been much worse.

  Yes I'm thankful because it could have been much worse then it was.I think even one kid dieing is to many.Even though he took his own life it's still sad and shocking to have it happen where you live.His poor family must be in a lot of pain right now.

  It could have been so much worse.So many kids and teachers were in the building who could have died.

  Noni/Priestess If only we could throw some holy water on the children to protect them, including the shooter, also a child.

  Yeah.However this is nothing new for Cleveland Public Schools.When I was in school a kid brought a knife to school.I know this because he showed it to me.I went to one of the baddest school in the city.It's closed now but my first day walking in that school there was a huge gang fight blocking the main stairway into the school.I spent the rest of the 4 years I was there afraid for my life.

  You should hear the story's on the news on a nightly basis about gang fights and kids being arrested and getting shot after school.It's really sad.

  Now we have 1 dead kid and 2 hurt teachers and 3 hurt students.I hope the mayor takes this seriously and puts more security into the schools.I feel really bad for the parents who lost a son today because of this.

  Yeah it really is.Thankfully none of the people shot except the shooter is dead.It looks like the ones who were shot aren't in danger of dieing.I keep hearing 2 teachers were shot and 2 students were shot.One teacher was shot in the back and one in the side.The 2 students who were shot have flesh wounds and are not seriously hurt.This I'm hearing live on the news right now.

  CLEVELAND (AP) -- A gunman opened fire in a downtown high school on Wednesday, and five people were taken to a hospital, the mayor said.

  Mayor Frank Jackson said three young people and two adults were hurt. SuccessTech Academy had been secured and there was only one suspect, he said.

  "They have the shooter," Jackson said. He did not elaborate.

  Ronnell Jackson, 15, said he saw the shooter running down a school hallway.

  "He was about to shoot me but I got out just in time," he said.

  Another student, Doneisha LeVert, said she heard the principal say "Code Blue" over the public address system, and the students started running. She said she hid in a closet with some of her friends.

  Students stood outside the building, many in tears and on cell phones. Family members also stood outside, anxiously waiting for their children to be released.

  "I'm scared. I'm hoping no more people got hurt," Jackson said.

  Tammy Mundy, 38, who has a son and daughter at the school, told The Plain Dealer of Cleveland that her daughter called when the shooting started.

  "She said, 'Mom they're shooting in here, kids are running out, I'm hiding in the closet,'" Mundy told the newspaper.

  Then she called her 18-year-old son, Darnell Rodgers, on his cell phone, and he told her he had been shot in the arm.

  "He said, 'Mom I got shot,'" Mundy told the newspaper.

  The small, alternative high school is in the center of downtown across from the FBI's offices and three blocks from where the Cleveland Browns play football. The school enrolls 240 students grades nine through 12 and emphasizes technology education. All the students are poor under federal poverty guidelines.

  I just heard on the news that the shooter killed himself after he shot 4 other people and 1 was injured some other way.The shooter was 14 years old.

  i've heard this been said before that when you have had loads to drink and when your inhibitions are temporarily removed then the real you is exposed.

  i.e:.

  some people when they've got a skinfull they might start talking about money & bragg about personal financial achievements and how much more money they're going to earn.. some people after a few beers suddenly think they're rocky balboa and think they can take the world on.. others after sinking some g & t's might turn into a crazed sexual tyrannosaurus!!.

  So when someone drunkenly slurs "I weeeallleee luvvvvv you guyz" they really mean it deep down?

  LOL that's the funny part about it I don't think they mean it when they say they love you.Then again I never believe people when they say the love me drunk or sober.I always think people are being nice and don't really mean it.

  If they say your a slut who had a orgy with 8 guys in one night and they never wanted you in their wedding only asked you because they were trying to be nice and someone else backed out and the husband has hated you from day one that I believe they mean when they say it.
