  if yes, did u do ample research and think carefully but still believe in it?

  if u don't think that the story should be taken as literal, what is your reading of it and do u still believe in the bible as the inspired word of god?...thanks in advance..

  Because the scripures alone give us assurances in the promises of Christ. Based on the active obediance of Christ alone. Those who walk away or apostacy from the faith where never converted by God in the first place. your asking god questions that can be answered by a good study on the nature of conversion. and who does the saving God or man. 1John 5:1-5 gives us the assurance that we are favor with God and have eternal life. We do know that God chooses undeserving sinners, who they are that is locked up un the seecret things of God not to be revieled but we personally can know our own assurense of election and salvation. That is why we proclaiom the message of Christ because it is though the means of the preached word that men are saves James 1:18 Romans 10:17

  Are you saying regeneration(being made alive-born again) comes before faith and repentance. Eph. 2:1-5?

  Faith is a gift and man can't choose God Romans 3:10-11 unless enabled right? "No one comes to the son uless it is granted to him by the father"

  Are you talking about "effectual calling" as the WCF discribes it.

  The greater problem with aC is that if he eliminates the biblical doctrine of the first Adam then he has erased the need for the second Adam and thus distroyed the biblical basis of an IMPUTATION of Christ's rightiousness to us. A&E took God's word very litteraly until the serpint challenged God's word as litteral "hath God said?" Gen 3:1,2. Yet A&E stop taking God's word litteraly at that point and adopted a non-litteral herminudic Just like you aC, and sinned in the garden. I believe aC you are Going after a bigger fish when you attact plainary verbal inspiration and the creation account. I think you are trying to deny the doctrine of creation to get at original sin and the imputation of Adam's guilt to us, thus attacking our need for Christ's rightiousness by faith alone imputed to us. That aC is what you are really going after.

  I have and old friend of yours who lives in San Deigo now I'm trying to convince him to join this board he used to live in Berkeley but now he is a student at Westminster Seminary. I don't know if he has time since his wife is going to have a baby. But you used to fight with him constently on old messege boards like "catch 22" he use to be an elder now he is at Westminster. I thinking of going down there and visiting him. Anyway do you remember

  WOW, I haven't seen this much drama on a JW discussion board since the old "catch 22" board was up, if any can remember way back in the day 5 1/2 years ago... When an elder was going to put a contract out on some guy (John Wycliffe) JW for short and the fearce battles with someone named "Exuberent Potato Girrl" if any can remember. Does anyone here go back that far and remember the old "catch 22" board?

  That Tiger team in 84' was a kick but team they could of easily handeled the 86' Mets.
