Thanks Amicus : ) where I work, the customers are 90% male. At first it was difficult. because of my personality type they all got to know me like a buddy, never really had a problem luckily.

Mommy, I agree with you 100%. My daughters father would blame me for everything! I dress ultra conservative, and it was my fault for just being at the grocery store. I live in big sweatshirts and loose fitting jeans, one thing I wont do though is not care about my weight, hair or make up. Well sometimes the make up I dont care about. But you know what I mean.

OK, does anyone remember the Twiglight Zone about a boy named Anthony, this boy held hostage people in his home, and whenever someone thought a " bad thought" he would wish them into oblivion. well these people were so scared they forced themselves to only think "happy thoughts" so they wouldnt perish. Reminds me of wol forum. Does anypone remember that episode?

Sadly, my mother has been df'd since I was around 7 yrs old. She lives in California and I, in Tennessee. She was invited to the wedding, which she came to. She then left the event and did not attend the reception. She thought I would fold on my stand and allow her to watch the cutting of the cake, the first dance.. maybe even the mother/son dance. But no way. This event was for my family.. my spiritual family came first. She didn't like it one bit but I stuck to my guns. I am glad I remained firm, but it still saddens me nonetheless.

You know I HATED the way jws KNOWING that someone in their religion is doing something horrible will still talk to them before they are df'd. But not after, if someone is lets say beating their wife, I do not want anything to do with them PERIOD! An example, in my bible teachers cong, there was a wife beater, yet everyone associated with him, and another poor sap who cheated on his wife is totally treated like dirt and ignored. Thats so sad, politics I think.
