  Were Most Of The Elders Dumb--- That You Knew???

  i'd say out of 10 elders, the average "sharp" ones are 2 or 3.

  I'd have to go with low average intelligence.

  Obviously "dumb" won't work because they do have the capacity to memorize text and give talks, but I really don't see that the majority would be able to function outside the Org.

  Wifey was out with the group the other day and they returned her for better or worse. Anyway one of the Elder's children, a 4 y/o boy, was with them and he got out to say hi and pet the cat.

  His mother SCREAMED when she saw what he was about to do, and he stopped and told me very seriously "Daddy says the scarlet beast with horns is a cat and I can't play with them anymore"

  Could we have stumbled onto the reason behind the higher education thing ?

  in the mid 1990s the wtbts backed-off just a little bit on its stance about higher education publically while it was still discouraged unofficially.

  now, all of a sudden they are publically clamping back down.

  and coincidentally they are clamping back down just as ben schroeder was entering his final year or years at columbia law school.

  How do you introduce a cat to a dog

  i have a gf that has a 5 year old dog.

  very sweet and easy going.

  she is traveling a lot over the next two months and the person who was suppose to watch her dog has all of a sudden backed out.

  Put the cat in a kennel cage with his food and litter and bed in there. The dog will be able to walk all around and check him out and the cat will see he means no harm, and in three days they will be best (maybe not best) friends.

  That's the preferred method to introduce a new kitty to an existing one as well.

  The baby gate will not work since kitty will just go to another room and never "meet" the dog

  That would be in contrast to Jews and Mormons who remain two of the best educated religious groups. Their kids leave, and they are exposed to other views but stay faithful (more often than the Dubz) That is because the other members are educated as well, and the kids "fit in"

  Even when I was serious I considered the majority of Dubz as rather "slow" if you know what I mean. They always had trouble keeping up mentally and never seemed to get the point of the discussion.

  Kids go to university and meet people who speak using euphamisms and satire and thay are just captivated because it takes more intelligence and wit to speak that way. They are amazed because it's new and exciting rather than the same old "new system" "old system" crap.

  Man there is one hottie Dubette around here that literally makes my mouth water.

  Reminds me of a Shakira but with boobs and hips.

  She makes it a practice to wear the TIGHTEST dresses fron see-through fabric as well.

  I am at attention for every meeting. Did I mention she drives a Vette as well?

  there has been a lot of change recently; we had the announcement a few months> '> back that there would be a large reduction of personnel in the us bethel because of [the] new efficient equipment and also lots of the work has shifted to other branches.
