  Lock the parking lot gate after the meeting starts?

  quick synopsis...the local spanish congo is the only one in about a 40 mile radius.

  most of the members live nearby, but the ones in the outskirts have up to a 1 hour trip depending on beach traffic.

  recently the wife and i noticed that the hall's parking lot had been secured by a wall and electric gates added to all three exits and entrances.

  i attended the meeting today, and i just wanted to share my observation of whaty i consider to be part of the hypocrisy inherant to all organized religion.

  one of the things i hate most about the jws is the way they point fingers at others while calling them "worldly" or "not christians" while quietly doing the same thing that they accuse everyone else of.. one of the local elders gave the talk about forgiveness to relate with today's study topic.

  one of the scriptures he quoted and emphasized was psalms 15:5 which, paraphrased, asks and answers the question: "o lord, who shall sojourn in your vtent?

  Adoption...Is it for Christians?

  i was taking a stab at writing a wt style headline, so pardon the rhetoric.. anyway, the wife's sister has been a full-on jw and a pioneer since high-school.

  her husband is 6-7 years younger than she is.

  he was tapped at 25 or so y/o to be an elder, and is a frighteningly serious jw.

  DF'ed JW dies, family regrets shunning

  the wife's aunt was df'ed right after the 1975 fiasco for getting married in a catholic church.

  pretty harsh wouldn't you say?

  anyway, her hard-core niece , my wifes' cousin patty, as well as many other loyal dubs followed doctrine and refused to have contact with her other than to urge her to return to the dubs after every wt meeting that told them to "reach out" to the dfed ones.

  JW Elder in FL sells his home, makes front page news!

  local jw elder made front page news by selling one of the area's top ten most expensive homes in 2009. ironically, or pehaps well planned, his home is the only one with a gate to keep out the pesky peddlers.

  i don't know if you can make out the sign "camp david" in front of the house, but it is there!.

  last wednesday field circus school was about how to adeptly use the phone to make appointments to drop off material and find the ho at home.. .

  lie says the po, do not tell them you are a dub!

  i fell out of my chair right after looking up "lies" in the index of my jw bible..

  so it begings in beautiful ft walton, fl.

  some young (20ish) bros get together for some good christian fellowship at the house of two newlywed dubs, and then the pensacola brothers show up.. .

  crips and bloods.

  Sister "Elly" vanishes

  my daughter is 18 and goes to meetings from time-to-time basically to mess with the dubs (she always wears mini-skirts) and keep up on gossip....she actually filled me in on this but i find it amusing.. sister "elly" (we'll just call her that) the buxom vixen of our spanish congo suddenly stopped showing up to meetings.

  my curiosity became aroused when not one single person asked her mom about her!.

  her mom and step-dad are super-dubs, the kind who take it personally if a child draws pictures during the meeting rather than sit ram-rod straight, if a bro uses the john more than once, or if a sister "forgets" her hose.
