  DA or not DA or continue slipping away ?

  for weeks now, i've been trying to put together a disassociation letter - incidently, it's you lot that have put me up to this - and it's nearing completion but i'm feeling nervous about sending it.

  the fast approaching christmas celebration thingymajig is kinda egging me on as i want to blaze christmas lights everywhere and not feel nervous about the possibility of a visit from the po who drops the mags in to me fortnightly (i'm generally 'not in' ... ahem ...).

  i would appreciate your for's and against's - to either convince me to go ahead, or to think again and stay the execution ...

  ...........we were stunned, i had never heard a father treat anyone with such a harsh contempt, and my heart went out to the daughter who later visited my then local pub the unicorn to seek me out..... thats right, the 18 year old daughter turned up in my local pub and brought her 20 year old witness brother along with her.

  after several pints of ale, he informed me that he was heavily into smoking pot and that he was concerned that he might get df'd if he was caught.

  he didn't see why he couldn't enjoy a joint without giving up being a witness, she had just finished watching the movie "shirley valentine", did i know what a clitoris was?.

  A Tale Of 2 Witties, Part 1.

  some years back i moved into a new house on a new estate, quite near to where my mother lives, and even closer to where radar lives now.. we were one of the first to move in, and, after several weeks, our first neighbours began to arrive.

  they were a family comprising husband, wife, 1 son and 3 daughters.

  we exchanged greetings and each family showed the other around our new houses which were of the linked to each other design.. a week or so later, i noticed my mother pulling up outside in her car, but, instead of coming to my home she got into a long conversation with my new neighbour who was tending to his front garden.

  White Plains, NY XJW who are you?????

  i'm wondering if the xjw who drives every weekday morning in rush hour traffic on 684 through white plains, westchester county ny is on this board.

  he drives his car in the middle lane aprox.

  10 miles below speed limit (gotta love it) with anti-jw signs all over his car.. an admirer,.

  My parents gave the best "witness" to all our friends and non-JW family. They decided right before my wedding, to a non-JW, not to attend. Meanwhile people had flown in from all over the U.S. Years later people still discuss how F*CKED up that religion is. They were worried about stumbling people in their congregation, and instead gave a great "witness" to over a 100 others.

  I hate that my family is torn up because of the borg.

  I hate that I still have scars from my 19 years in.

  I hate when my daughter is sick and I can't make it better.

  I hate that children still suffer abuse.

  I hate Martha Stewart.

  I hate washing dishes.

  I hate morning sickness.

  I hate getting myself into binds because of procrastination.

  I hate the extra 15 pounds.

  I hate that I have to hide important events from my family (borg).

  I hate that I have to hide pictures of my daughter (Halloween, Christmas) that would offend them (so they'll still be in my life)
