Working in coordination with a network of offices, chapters and supporters throughout the United States and affiliated organizations around the world, the ANCA actively advances the concerns of the Armenian American community on a broad range of issues.
The main goals of the ANCA are:
- To foster public awareness in support of a free, united and independent Armenia;
- To influence and guide U.S. policy on matters of interest to the Armenian American community;
- To represent the collective Armenian American viewpoint on matters of public policy, while serving as liaison between the community and their elected officials.

13 on this account take up the complete suit of armor from god, that you may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after you have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm.

JUST HOW GULLIBLE ARE YOU? DO YOU LIKE IT THAT WAY?
by Terry infool me once; shame on you.... fool me twice; shame on me.. we've all heard that one before.
it implies that being fooled is everybody's susceptibility until more facts are presented which enable more critical thinking.. critical thinking is something you aren't born with.
it takes lots of practice.. and anything humans want to learn requires many tries.

Terry if a spirit creature visited you and spoke with you often would you believe that this creature existed even though you could not provide proof?

Stumped 'em!!!
by candysearching ini had a conversation (debate) with my disfellowshipped husband about "the truth" that he tries so hard to protect.
me: hey, babe, can you tell me again why jw do not celebrate birthdays?.
hubby: well, only two are mentioned in the bible, and on both, men were killed.. me: well, herod and pharoah killed men whenever they felt like it right?

If the celebration of one’s birthday were so wrong would not Jesus or one of his apostles have said to abstain from celebrating birthdays? So these two rules had people but to death at their birthday parties. They also ate food, drank wine, sang songs, danced, drank water, relaxed, blah blah blah. Are all these things now wrong to do because someone wicked did them? I think not!
As far as voting goes does it say in Titus 3: 1 Continue reminding them to be in subjection and be obedient to governments and authorities as rulers, to be ready for every good work. 5 There is therefore compelling reason for YOU people to be in subjection, not only on account of that wrath but also on account of [YOUR] conscience. 6 For that is why YOU are also paying taxes; for they are God’s public servants constantly serving this very purpose. 7 Render to all their dues, to him who [calls for] the tax, the tax; to him who [calls for] the tribute, the tribute; to him who [calls for] fear, such fear; to him who [calls for] honor, such honor.

"The Christian congregation is the means whereby we receive timely spiritual food, encouragement, and guidance. (Matthew 24:45-47; Hebrews 10:21-25) For instance, if any are spiritually sick, they can "call the older men [appointed elders] of the congregation." James adds the assurance: "And the prayer of faith will make the indisposed one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him."—James 5:13-15."
James 5:13-15.13
Is there anyone suffering evil among YOU? Let him carry on prayer. Is there anyone in good spirits? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is there anyone sick among YOU? Let him call the older men of the congregation to [him], and let them pray over him, greasing [him] with oil in the name of Jehovah. 15 And the prayer of faith will make the indisposed one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
What does spiritual sickness have to do with this scripture?
"Is there anyone suffering evil among YOU?" Is this spiritual evil?

A Search for Truth?
by Rooster ina search for truth.
c. t. russell was born in the united states, in allegheny (now part of pittsburgh), pennsylvania, on february 16, 1852. he was the second son of joseph l. and ann eliza (birney) russell, who were presbyterians of scottish-irish descent.
charles mother died when he was only nine years old, but from an early age, charles was influenced by both of his religiously-minded parents.

So Russel got rid of the predestination-teaching and the hell-doctrine. Does this mean that he "rid christianity of pagan influences"? Nope. Because you can`t rid christianity of something that is in the Bible! I`m not a born-again and I`m not even sure I would consider myself a christian, but both pre-destination and hell are part of the Bible. If "ridding christianity of its pagan influences" means ignoring certan parts of the Bible (or re-interpreting/twisting scriptures to make them say something other than what they say), then nothing would be left of the Bible. Accept the Bible as a whole, or become an atheist, that`s what I say.
I think the name of God has been added into places [by the WTBTS] in the Christian Greek scriptures where it does not belong.
It seems to me that the society side steps Jesus Christ and His authority with teachings that salvation can be attained through meeting attendance, field service, participating in their ministry school, marking others in their congregation, donating monetarily to their cause, & on & on.

How often did Paul quote Jesus?
Terry
There is a big difference between Paul & the WTBTS. Christ Jesus personally visited Paul. Paul was part of the establishing of Christianity and thus had Gods spirit directing him. Now that Christianity has been established it would be wrong to teach such things as "Jesus Christ did not receive Kingship of His kingdom until 1914"!
Can you agree on this?
