  Married my partner...

  we just got back from san francisco where we were married last week.

  maybe some day gay couples won't have to travel 1,000 miles to get married, and their commitment of love will be recognized by society.

  there will be no need to use code - my friend, my roommate - at the office, with neighbors, or with family when speaking about the person with whom you live your life.

  we had our lovely across the street neighbors over about a month ago.

  somehow, after a little wine and margaritas, the subject got onto religions.

  they asked what religion we are (a baited question- they've watched us pile into the car 3-5 times a week wearing a suit for a few years).

  Armageddon spotted yesterday!

  an unsuspecting victim turning the corner @ church & elm street ran directly into armageddon.

  when asked why he was lurking around the corner armageddon replied "i am always right around the corner if you are ever looking for me in the future!

  " the victim [requesting to remain unnamed] was visibly shaken by the direct collision & was overheard saying "wow i thought armageddon was going to be bigger but i am sure glad i had auto insurance.

  Ooooooook!

  labor day, i'm at the supermarket picking up some ribs and stuff cuz hubby wants to fire up the grill and i see some english peas which reminds me of the screamin peas my mother makes (so good you'll want to slap your mama a few times).

  i call my mother to get her recipe for the peas and my father picks up the phone.

  we exchange pleasantries during which my father asks how the kids are doing.
